I didn't expect anything more of him towards the end really.
When you become a victim, everybody would act that way. So basically every human being is a natural born victim, except for the psychopaths.
Every normal human being would run away from a Serial Killer who tried to kill them even if you didn't went through what Bum went trough.
Bum is comfortable with being a victim as we have seen through previous chapters by not only Shangwoo but all most anyone he has interacted with.

Ok after she wakes up from the vision,she is confused on whether what happened to her really happened or was it a bad dream. She visits the temple where the god of her world called vita tells her that it was all real and out of pity he decides to give her another chance. He tells her Jieun was suppose to be born in their world and become empress but because due to a technicality Tia ended up her replacement, unfortunately this meant her fate got tangled up with emperor and jieun. He then tells her that he cant change fate but he felt bad for her and decide to give her a gift for all that she went through in her previous life. She is completely pissed off but accepts the gift and tells him that she won't ever rely on him ever nor will she thank him. He gives her a new name and the power to carve her own fate, which means what happens to her in the future may not happen. Which is good because her realtionship with her dad is better and she learns to appreciate all the people and things in her life rather than focuse on becoming the perfect queen. She even pick up sword training and become close with servants and the soldiers under her dad command. Later she tells her dad about what could happen in the future.
This act send a new oracle about her new name, which causes her to be summon to the king with her father, where she meets the other two dukes that protect and maintain the kingdom, armed with her memories of the past she impress them by telling them that their idea for a new tax regime will only end in riot and cause problems the could avoid. She later befriend the other two dukes Sons. She ends up telling one of them about her possible future.
She bumps into the asshole prince alot during the times she visits the castle, however due her memories of the future him, she freezes up. This causes her to want to get as far away as possible. At first he yells at her and generally act like the future sadist she knows. However as time passes he wonders what is her problem and figures that maybe she remembers what happened when they were very little and death of her mom. Eventually she and him have their debutante ball and the first dance to symbolize their engagement. She then decides this is the best chance and tell the emperor that she does not want to be his kid wife and wants to inherit her dad place. This shocks everybody but the emperor says he will think about it and will allow her to go off to knight school rather than learn to be the next empress. She later leaves with her dad in the countryside continue her sword training with her friend. Prince shows up and ask her why she is doing this. This cause her PTSD to flare up big time where she goes into shock and passes out. He later find a letter that she wrote to her friend about the future and is freaked out by it. He decides to leave her alone and investigate what could cause future him to act like that and does tia hear the voice of god.

The prince in the past and present was jealous of her and obsessed with her in fact after she died he always compare her to the heroine .he end up destroying the heroine because she not the MC so i personally think he always liked her even as kids because they were both sickly but he nothing special mom a maid( i think )so he always had a inferiority complex .It kept getting worst because the Mc was too smart and worked her ass off to prove her love for him .He never have to ask or worry about anything .Ironically this led to worst treatment this is MC fault i guess .....She did her queen duties perfectly while the heroine play around with the prince .After Mc died the country went down .This is what makes me feel sorry for the heroine .She just a regular korean girl so she doesn't know how to do her duties as a Queen .He kept on asking her why cant you be as half as good as the MC :blobwoah:. Only after she gone he miss the Mc .....because his life wasnt easy as before!!!:blobfearful:

in the 2nd life he still obsessed with her and think the Mc belong to him .the shock of her interacting with other guys and her trying to break the engagement got him to chase her to figure her out .when mc went training with her dad she wrote a letter to the rival ml but the prince end up reading it .even through Mc worked hard destiny kept them meeting .then the heroine came and kept trying to get the prince but try to tangle with Mc too .She has also been reborn! :sweating_profusely: She wants Mc to do all the work so she can get the credit .(This is when i hated the heroine for being so lazy and selfish.)The heroine has become the villian at this point so eventually the mc blame all the prince bad doing on her .:blob_coughblood:The heroine led him astray ! the mc overcomes her trauma and marrys the prince. She forgives the heroine and give a light punishment .the heroine has to stray at another country up to 5 years ? This novel was so fun but the ending literally kill the story for me .also as a woman i couldnt figure out why she liked the prince so much .Plot power ?He was just so forgettable.He more of a tool to keep the plot going .The Mc sort of deserves this destiny because in the end she push the blame on the other the women not the man.after i read the ending all i could think was girl have you ever heard of the me too movement?yes the heroine turned evil but she did it to survive in a new world all she had was a man.the prince never loved the heroine he was using both girls in his life.he was so selfish and never really repented :blobangery: he dosent deserved to be happy
It sounds like YOU haven't heard of the #MeToo movement. Victim blaming, what you just did, is the opposite of the #MeToo movement. Jieeun IS as big of a b**** as the MC made her out to be, as well. Otherwise, you could use the tragic backstory of the prince to keep from blaming him for his rape of the MC. OOPS?
Also, why did you not warn us that the ending of the manhwa was just as bad as the novel, since you, yourself, made such a big deal about it?

It's a bad ending cause there was no justice for all the bad things that happened.

But I forgot what chapter I read this part, it is a flashback (I think) and it comes from some sort of dream. That flashback it is about after MC had the miscarriage and she is sleeping in bed, then her father come into the room and woke her up. MC father said something like please bear with this a little longer, I need to go out now but I will come back and take you home. So that had me wondering if MC father plan to do harm to the black hair girl then he wouldn’t said he will take MC home soon right??? It sound more plausible to me, if the father want to harm the black hair girl only because he want to help his daughters to get rid of a enemy or obstacle, so MC can stay with the prince without worry for another women. But if MC father want to takes her home, then there is really no need to harm anyone. And that chapter had me wondering someone is scheming in their 1st life to try to get rid of the father and hopefully MC too. And I wonder who that person is, cause I really can’t imagine the MC father doing something like this, during their 1st life, we don’t know much about MC father, we only know he is strict and royal to the throne.
