Pretty much, he was obsessed with her and loved her, but for some reason he just couldn’t treat her right ( not an excuse tho). But that last chap was him being regretful about everything ( how he treated her etc.) and her not showing up at his bed showed him that he truly messed everything up and that it was really over. So he wanted to set her free the only way he knew how.
I assume that he thinks she did not know he loved/ how much he loved her due to how he treated her. So his final thoughts were him not wanting it to get out that he truly did love her so that it is easier for her to hate him and forget about him.

ya i think so. but its so sad he killed himself. he couldve resolved it with the whole floer he was going to give and how he was going to apologize but the thing fell on him.

I think thats one of the reason why he the father said not so say it to the mom to his brother because he wants the mom to live without regrets or what ifs that's why he thought that its better to hate him than took pity of him. The father is really selfish but he can be also selfless to his loved one. This really hurts I can'tt (╥_╥)

And it was pretty low of her to confess. the sister was selfish in that part cause she knows everyone chooses her over her twin so like maybe she confessed with the intention of winning him over (since everyone chooses her). BUt obviously that didnt happen.
