i kind of see it too, him bringing nakyum to jihwa as a way to test his resolve. like he's indirectly asking him, "are you sure you really want him dead?"
he could've easily killed nakyum on the spot, but he didn't. almost like he knows jihwa wouldn't have actually wanted that. it's too early to tell though so i'm just speculating. could be a very off theory of mine.
