I saw the raws last year but I'm afraid I cant give you the link cause I lost it, there were some college freaks who barged into the room, and I tell you it's freaking uncomfortable. And you feel bad for Chris after what had happened, and it's going to be a roller coaster ride of angst since Max's ex-partner will show up.
Honestly, this is very EDUCATIONAL. I love how the uke talks about his degree and profession with so much passion. Clearly, he did not regret choosing that path he chose for himself. Putting his interest into a profession. How his professor guided him, teaching him life learning lessons that it is okay to worry on a lot of things and to have fun to immerse alone in things we like and to continue doing things we love that eventually, we will find someone who loves doing the same as well. And I think it is really relevant because we can't find teachers/professors like that easily. I also learned about few plants and how to make tea lol
HAPPY WORLD TEACHER'S DAY by the way!
WHOLESOME. I love how the uke mentions that he wasn't influential because he thinks the seme is the one who seriously strive to work to make things happen and the seme shouldn't be thanking the uke, but thanking himself when they talk about how the seme grew up in an environment with a lot of expectations. Because I do agree with the uke that people seem to thank us because people think we are a huge influence in their pair—it's really bit innane—because we also need to start celebrating our own triumphs.
I love how the seme loves to be educated and is eager to learn and listen to the uke blabbering about his plant-otaku wide knowledge in botany. The seme was really well-written how he respected the uke's space, privacy, and emotional environmental conditions. Such as how he verbally asks for MUTUAL CONSENT with their sexual/intimate activities, and assures the uke not to force themselves especially they had been dating for 2 months. I think there are those gentle souls out there.
I also love that they are claiming themselves that both of them are gay, I love how the author has clearly emphasized their sexual orientations, because some mangakas often misunderstand these concepts. I also think the author is a very cultured and knew some of societal issues as well as in the field of hard sciences.
RELEVANCE. People still think that being gay is a "disease" and when the uke thought that "It is impossible to make people understand." It is true, especially if we relate it today—It is frustrating, because people with colors are fighting against injustices in a heteronormative and macho male-chauvinistic society that they could not accept. But it is never too late to UNTEACH PATRIARCHIAL IDEOLOGIES. And EDUCATING people from the grassroots to the status quo is a learning method to teach people that WE ARE STILL FIGHTING AGAINST INJUSTICES.
