Super solid. You REALLY feel for Mag, especially when her trauma manifests in the earlier chapters. She’s likeable, a bit dumb (with love) but wilful enough to get through life. I’m glad she’s a flawed, damaged protagonist who grows throughout the story. Some criticisms I have of the story are the, at times, jank dialogue decisions that feel out of place and the kind of amateur villain plotline. The characters here are good but the story could have done with some more time to iron out the creases.
