Honestly if this timeskip leads to sooae reconnecting with Dohwa leading her to choose him because she actually likes him I’d be satisfied by that twist. Unless Eunhyuk was in a literal coma there was no reason he couldn’t send her a text that he was leaving. I think it would be reasonable for her to fall for the person who would have always been there versus the person who left for 10 years that she was pining for.
Not that this will happen because manhwa is gonna manhwa, dark haired ML wins 80% of the time and doing shitty things to the FL is always justified because his feelings matter more than hers. (I like Eunhyuk, I don’t like this trope.)

If this were a better story they’d actually talk to him about what happened and acknowledge that he has been sexually assaulted in his sleep for YEARS and was being raped by his friend. It’s not even dubcon when he’s begging for it to stop and trying to escape. If this were plotless porn it’d be one thing but the narrative is trying to make Tak’s actions “justified” and it’s gross. Going to go against the grain here and say that watching Tia’s plan unfurl is very satisfying and is certainly not being dragged out. The political intrigue is the point and I am so glad there is a manhwa that can scratch that itch for me in the villainess genre.
