The whole thing was plan for the royal princess to owe the su family a favor. The 3rd prince that the female lead was pregnant with last life was the one that killed her not the 4th prince that like her this life. Since she is the royal princess’s granddaughter- the 3rd prince is her uncle. The 4th prince (male lead) is not the emperor’s son. The empress was raped because the powerful families in the capital wanted to teach the emperor a lesson. The emperor and empress are childhood sweetheart, so she help the emperor get rid of all the princes from the powerful family. Afterward she was known as an evil empress and was sent to the cold palace. The emperor love the 4th prince, but the only way to protect him was to act that he doesn’t care about the 4th prince. The 1st and 3rd prince are a team- they’re both bad. The 2nd prince and 4th price are a team - 2nd prince became the emperor. The original emperor left fl and ml military power and something else to take the throne if 2nd prince change and try to kill them. I think 3rd prince ended up being a beggar, but not sure

No. The 4th prince is the empress only child.

The 4th prince- male lead is not the emperor child. The empress was raped. The person that rape the empress was from the powerful families with daughters in the emperor harems. Before the empress went to the cold palace, she help the emperor and took care of all children from those powerful family that wanted to control the emperor. I’m not sure how she died, but it sounds like she died from childbirth since the 4th prince seem to grew up by himself

Thank you, I like this story but I'm still kinda hesitant to pick this novel, since this doesn't have comedy or female lead doesn't know any martial art and with so many chapters I'm sure this gonna tire me if I read it.
