Had a random idea for an isekai type story. The fl gets reincarnated into the villainess who’s engaged to the second male lead.
In the original story, the second male leads decided to not pursue the original fl because of his engagement with the villainess. However, they both end up miserable in the end, in a loveless marriage. The villainess ends up dying at some point because of her villainess-like nature lol. Also cause she’s still jealous of fl, despite being married to second male lead, as she still believes he loves her.
Fl loved the second male lead because of the sacrifice he made and for not being a cheating bastard basically lol. So, when she gets reincarnated as the villainess, she decides to break off their engagement and try to matchmake the second male lead and the og fl.
However, along the way, the second male lead falls in love with her and is trying to pursue her again, thinking she doesn’t love him anymore.
It’s also revealed that in the original story, the second male lead does fall in love with the villainess during their marriage. However, miscommunication issues happened and they never understood each other before the villainess died basically lol
Anyway, had this random story idea for a villainess reincarnation story.
