I've been having a struggle with myself lately and since it relates to some of the topics going around recently I figured it'd work to vent and get some opinions here.
I'm a trans man and bi/pan (I'm still figuring that out) and I look at straight and gay porn since those are the kind of relationships I would be in. The issue is that for most of my life people have told me I'm a girl and I've been told to act like a girl, so it makes me feel like I'm invading on something whenever cis gay people talk about being fetishized in porn. I know I'm a guy, but would me watching gay porn make gay people uncomfortable? Sorry if this is an obvious thing for anyone and this is annoying. I'm asking since I genuinely don't know and don't want to make people uncomfortable.

you're a bi guy, period. being cis doesn't make someone more valid then others or more in the community, and at the end of the day if you are a bi guy and you watch gay porn, it can't be fetishizing considering you could be in one of those relationships one day because you are also in that community. this probably doesn't make the most sense, but at the end of the day there's nothing wrong with you watching it, it could be a part of the gender dysphoria mixed in with the expectations others have for you, but even if you went to the forums i promise you everyone would be saying the same as i am now because you are a bi guy.
I basically agree with what the other person said except for the fetishizing part. If you get off to gay porn, you're fetishizing the people in it, period. Whether you're a bi guy or a straight girl doesn't change that. Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you doing it, since you're an MLM yourself. I can only see other guys being uncomfortable with you watching gay porn if they see you as a girl, but you're not a girl, so that's on them. You're not guilty of invading on anything.
