“Let’s fight” doesn’t mean you should conduct yourself any less properly as anywhere else. Sure, you won’t get anything for it, but you could at least have some decency and etiquette. Also, it’s pretty clear I was speaking from a place of frustration and I even mention that too. Just because you like something doesn’t mean you should brainlessly defend it, especially if your first instinct is to insult people instead of responding with your opinion. Even good media should be criticized. You can like something and admit it has flaws because nothing is perfect.

shut up lmfao, the story was pretty shit. pretty people tho. at around chapter 40 i started skipping the chapters and simply reading the first few panels, realizing the episode is a filler, skipping to the next, reading the first few panels, and so on and so forth until chap 120. it was just dragged soooooooo much on unnecessary topics but the characters were nice and i was really happy that jenette wasn’t secretly evil . i did. enjoy it but mainly cuz i skimmed more than half of it. the main story couldve been chopped into 80 episodes imo

Some of you guys in the comments fr fighting imaginary battles trying to defend yourselves. Like… it’s okay no one is saying you encourage, support, or agree with the shitty and cliched plot of the story. You can just read (what we can all agree is objectively bad) poorly-written manga/hwa/hua or novels without it being that deep. And there’s really no argument there because if you’re primarily reading jinx on this site and you’re clearly ashamed about reading it, it means you aren’t giving the manhwa exposure or monetary support. I don’t know if you’re addressing me or the general group who don’t like or agree with the story. I also agree that hate-reading is fine but complaining about it is redundant. I’m just saying that people feel too much the need to justify them reading it as if with a guilty conscience and believing people will criticize them for it. I also think discussion and exchange of opinions are important! But what happened to women supporting women… (or men) these people are letting this story dictate their ability to practice empathy with others and its so pointless and unnecessary everytime I see it. People are free to like and enjoy what they enjoy without fear of being persecuted for it so long as it doesn’t harm someone else. And! Yep, Jinx is definitely a step up imo. Not only has the author’s art improved, I can really see the bits of the main male lead that are surprisingly and refreshingly self-aware (unlike the other ml from BJ alex). If I had to really complain, my only gripe is with the mc.. I mean, c’mon, Kim Dan is sweet and all but he’s so 2D. It’s really hard to like him when he just feels like a cliche rather than a character to care about. He has the most superficial of flaws. BJ Alex was much better in this regard. I admit that maybe my initial comment was pandering somewhat to the camp of jinx-haters. I don’t feel that strongly about it. It has its flaws but its not that deep for me. I don’t think anyone should radicalize themselves over this story on whether its good or bad though!

Everyone had a brief war where the eclise lovers fought bravely in defense of their snake idol and the penelope lovers ruthlessly cut them down. But characters aside, I think the real love interest were the friends we made along the way. Kidding, it was Cedric Potter, the least toxic or problematic, handsome and cute male character in this story lmfmao (laughing my fat motherfreaking ass off) I know he built like a knock-off shein temu deku ahh with an identity stolen from an obscure harry potter ship, but hear me out, he’s so adorbs and anyone who is not actively scheming or posing a potential threat to penelope is a W in my book. We are all gravely regretting the developments of Eclise but what is done is done and his ass is out of the running fr.
