i kinda wish this was a regression for the original host. he had a family and best friend who loved him. maybe suicide was what he wanted, but it was driven by deep depression from his parents' death, and would been great to see him recover from that and reconcile with his loved ones.
That would’ve been fantastic, honestly it’s sad what he went through and a lot of people can relate to such horrible depression. It’d have been great to see him conquer it.
meh. i know this is probably supposed to be a story with no substance with cliche drama and charas, a turn-your-brain-off kind of story, but i still wanna say it: mc is moronic and bland, a typical self-insert. the mls arent the most problematic mls but they're not really interesting either. but whatever, at least it doesn't have super weird shit in it.
his knight uniform is way too cool looking just to be a mere accessory in a smut story. like, i want lore
much of the angst was about mc's anxiety, which isn't a bad conflict perse, but felt like the author prolonged it longer than it should be, filling it with sex scenes and such. it was mostly resolved when mc found out about ml's intention to propose... like, that easily.
Time is the best healer, I think it would come out weirder if his feelings were resolved quickly, because aside from his anxiety, he is now also questioning his ideals and what he thinks is the right thing to do. Thats not an easy thing to change.
yes, ur right, that was the only thing the author did right. but in those chapters of him worrying, nothing really noteworthy happens (yet there has to be at least one sex scene per chapter....). also, i felt like it was resolved so stupidly, with an ex deus Machina cuz if that ring box hadn't rolled out accidentally, he would continued being silent. it was like the author decided she met her quota of silent suffering and decided to be done with it without giving him actual chara growth.
the ending was really disappointing. but it really was interesting, the manager projecting his subconscious, hallucinating that yujeon was alive and the one ordering/manipulating him to commit all those stuff, convincing himself he's doing it for her when he's the one gradually becoming obsessed/possessive of mc similarly like yujeon did.
mc's so useless? he's causing so much trouble for the ml like all the issues he caused so far grossly outweigh all the useful things he's done. it's like shoujo, but the charas are adults. (￣∇￣")
