might be niche but are there any GL recs with this specific dynamic: morally grey "straight" femme fatale who falls for the protective and kind "hero of justice" type

god damn it it's now been three times I've been baited to read stories in which the male mc is supposedly devoted to their lover initially, become invested, but later I find out the mc ends up taking another girl(s) for whatever bullshit plot reasons. (elusive samurai, nano machine, tales of demons and gods). is the problem the uploaders not tagging the story as harems? no, these stories will build up the mc and their love interest's seemingly monogomous relationship, just to jump thru absurd hoops to justify emotional or physical cheating with another girl to absolve the mc of their hypocrisy (ie. nano machine, tales of demons and gods), then their dumbass (male) readers will always defend these characters with the provided plot reasons, saying dumb shit like "but he did it to save her! it's a political marriage! she sacrificed so much for him, she deserves to be his nth-wife! she raped him! etc". like stfu u brain-rotted porn-addicted basement dweller-- acting as if all of these plot points weren't thought out and written by the author. a couple fuckers I've encountered literally called a situation in which mc has side pieces not a harem bc he has only one girl he loves, despite fucking other girls for whatever bullshit plot reasons-- as if they don't count as humans. not to mention how obnoxious these fuckers sound when u say u dislike harems conceptually, always going "you're missing out" and "this one is actually good" as if u'll change ur mind. these same fuckers will crash out if I said "you're straight? no, u just need to find the right man for you". these fuckers will think an androgynous looking female character is a male despite having obvious breasts, go "ew yaoi" then "I'm not homophobic", and debase romance/josei manhwas as a whole bc they're "rapey" and in the same breath praise harems bc they have "powerful women".
