The first one was ending on a high note, but that second one damn near made me cry.
I love that even though this series is so graphic and pervy, the two main characters STILL haven't done it. I like a nice long build up!
In the original stories, there was a morality tale. Good children live and bad children die. These stories have no "good" people. Every person in the story is a villain, and no one lives happily ever after. To make it worse, the smut is second rate. :)
I'm a pretty avid reader, but I couldn't get through all those light novels. English novels construct paragraphs very differently from Japanese novels, and I found the constant run-on sentences difficult to follow.
I love seke couples. So many yaoi ukes threaten to take control, but less than 1% ever actually do it.
I've "read" the Chinese. 8 Chinese raws on Facebook... i.e. (looked at the photos in each frame and guessed) but it's not enough! I really can't wait for someone to pick up this project.

I think that the author might have been forced to change the original ending. I think she originally intended to end the series tragically with Jack shooting Takahiro and then himself, but was "talked out of it" by an unhappy editor, hence the lame ending.
He's gonna remember this, right?
