I was not expecting the gruff delinquent to be the uke.

The first few chapters were like a mediocre knock-off of chocolate strawberry vanilla.

Personally, I like Chihaya x Arata, but I've been saying for awhile now that I thought the author was going to pair up Chihaya and Taichi because Arata isn't in the series very often.
But the tides are changing. Arata has been getting a lot more screen time, and we've been seeing from his POV in the pat few months. I now believe that Arata has become a real contender.
He's choosing to move to Tokyo to win Chihaya's heart even though she hasn't encouraged his affection. Arata's love for Chihaya is like their mutual love for Karuta. It's selfless.
When Taichi confessed to Chihaya, she rejected him. After that when Taichi quit the Karuta club, Chihaya knew that the only thing she had to do to get him to come back was to agree to be his girlfriend. Despite this, she still didn't say yes.
But Chihaya's response to Arata was not a "no". It was a "not right now". And rather than trying to give her an ultimatum, which is exactly what Taichi did, Arata accepted Chichaya's dedication as a legitimate reason why they couldn't be together and agreed to wait for her.
While Taichi's response would have been completely understandable in another situation, he had made a commitment to the karuta club. He was the president. Quitting was selfish.
Yes, Taichi has been in love with Chihaya his whole life, and if they don't end up together, I will be sad for him, but Arata and Chiahya are a much better match.

Looks interesting! I love it so far... The blindfold, the comments about the two brothers ' similarities, this is defo a "replacement" scenario! I'm excited to see how it plays out.

I read a dozen crappy manga in order to find the one decent story in the group and it's incomplete. Sucks. :(

I don't feel sorry for Mine, and I don't hate Hiroi. Personally, I'm jealous. I wanna be the ham in a boy-toy sandwich too! Though I don't think I could do it on a nightly or even weekly basis. Maybe... Once a month.

This is the most complicated manga I have ever read. The story is dark and totally sucks you in, and the art is beautiful... But honestly, there are WAY too many characters and time jumps. I feel like I'm missing a bunch of stuff.

The roles were unexpected. I thought the uke and seme would go the other way.

Damn... I cried like a baby through that entire cat story.

I kept hoping that the main character would meet a new love interest cause his boyfriend was a terrible person.
