Hi yall I just wondered where did the whole esper and guide troupe came from?
it derives from shounen and action manhwas and shit, lowk tho it’s very similar to omegaverse but with more dungeons and action, i have no idea what made it so popular but i guess people like codependency with the main characters

Guideverse. Check out Guiding Hazard. Dear 00 is top tier but it’s a unique take on guideverse and not perfect when just learning about the trope.

I was wondering the same. First Time I ever encountered aboverse was via fiction around a decade ago, maybe less. Esper and the whole "guiding someone" but with sex reminds me of something similar to the aboverse reliance on "pheromones" but the whole dungeon and super powered aspect really threw me off. I could make similar comparisons to when I learned about the Zerg verse. I do look forward to more guide verse works coming out,- it feels different in its own unique way!
