Since we don't know the rules of this world yet and weather the dead can eat or not maybe everyone in the village is dead and Guwon is making a little safe haven for all of them cause they would be attacked by the living? Just a theory.
The tragic thing with this being a historical story is that you know they are going to see a second world war and that Charles will be the right age to be drafted for it and I can't imagine Sasya's mental state handling that well even having all Karels love and support.

I can't help but laugh that Pavel always reels out his longest speeches for talking Sion into sex. Or previously making it clear he was only a top and bless you Sion. No matter what body he's in he has one position.
Though seeing him properly top Pavel would be very entertaining on itself.

This manga is an absolute masterclass in world building and I can't get enough.
Though I do struggle to keep all the trainees and different characters straight in my head I still love this so so much.
I don't know why this doesn't have a comedy tag cause it's hilarious. The MC is so self aware and ridiculous. I love him.

Read their religion's lore about the angel of judgement and the first holy king Zion. It's a huge hint on what Parvelone's destiny is and why he's not revealing his secret to Sion(he thinks Sion will try to stop him). He also thinks him medling with "god's chess board" in the last timeline was what lead to Sion's demise.
Now I get the name because the man is just a big puppy. A rottweiler puppy. Powerful but loveable and cuddly with two braincells on a good day
