I will explain, skin tone matter, because in more than hundred years, in entertainment the only people who were there, was white people, and in Korea, they have a colorism culture which if you are dark skin, even if you are Korean, it resembles to ages ago when dark skinned people was poor people, that worked under sunlight, so they see dark skin as poorness and light skin as richness, in resume, people care about skin tone because of racism or colorism.
