The characters have quite some interesting personalities. If you're open to the genre of female harem and not the usual 'one-male-one-female' plot, this could be your jam. As I like how they portray the thought process that goes through the Emperor, what she thinks of her concubine and how she manages the affairs. It's imperfect. But that's part of the charm to it.
Each concubine and characters have their own struggles and stance as well, which makes it difficult to dislike them easily. Yeah sure some of their decisions are kinda dumb or could be better ngl, but still understandable to a degree.
Plus the art!! The art is gorgeous!!! Ahhhhh
The emperor was currently on side quests and shet on the plot lol, now only are we diving back to the main plot so yup, come back once it's completed is best haha

This is unexpectedly good! I though it's gonna be one of those manga with tons of sex and invisible plot but it went rlly different from what I expected it???? It's rare to have read a manga where they show you that the two characters r having more time of getting to know each other, developing feelings, and spending time together and not just revolving around sex. + Usually manga's r so fast paced for me that their confession of their feeling doesn't resonate much,, it feels lacking and it makes u question how easy for them to like fall for each other. Like ya get me? I'm glad this manga showed this side that isn't usually seen in manga.
I had hope that they have their own story too COZ FUCK I CAN't GET ENOUGH OF THEM. I love this manga so much! I kin all of themmm. (≧∀≦)
