Almost didn't get shit because of how fast pace it was,,, there's no fucking timing and build up (ik it's bcoz it's still 10 ch but still.. it's a meh)
Also how the mc's emotion switch up doesn't seem all natural to me. Idk how to explain it well, but it feels lacking when we're talking abt his internal dilemma abt dying and wanting to live.
No I fully agree, he’s like “I’m ready to die. Actually I want to live. No I have to die or my family will suffer. Oh no, he’s gonna kill me!”
And as you said it’s fine for a character to flip-flop when they’re facing death, but you’ve got to show the reader why he’s flip-flopping otherwise it just comes across as a weak character. There was no pause between him saying “I want to sacrifice myself and die for my family” then, when he thinks he’s about to be killed, going “uh oh, if I don’t get out of here, I’m going to die!” Well yeah, that was the reason you walked into the room…
Mannnn, this is so honestly cool! The world building, the characters, the places, animals, geography shit and ecology is SOOO COOL MAN. Plus the arts!!! I love the art so much and the panels r so cinematic it looks so immersive and magical.
AND MORI IS SO HONESTLY CUTEE. I like when the panels suddenly become details to cue emotions.
Story has no actual plot, or like the chronological way of storytelling so i get y people can be confused abt the story.
This is like slice of life where they only show snippets of their life so we can only see some of the important prts of their life or how their friendship dynamic is ie. being a dumb idiot as they r
If y'all don't actually think of this as a linear story, u guys wont be confused since this manhua has the combination of future & past with no indication that it's having a flashback, idk if my statement made sense but there hshahahaha
I kinda disagree with this because if you read it from the start, you can see the plot unfolding in a linear way (not including holiday chapters which are making their own quick story). It’s just that since the chapters take so long to come out, it’s easy to lose track of what’s happening. That’s why I enjoy this story so much. after waiting for several chapters to come out, I reread it and find myself remembering and discovering new details about the characters and plot. I do agree that the plot may not happen day by day, but you can still get a general idea of when things happen because of background details. I think a lot of people are confused because of the time skip, but if you go back a few chapters, you see He tian talking about the fact that he’s leaving for abit. ( I guess it was longer than a bit ). I do wish there was something that explicitly stated when the time skip started, but they do look older so I guess that’s enough for me.
Jobs bro..jobs
This is the most stupid comment of this manhua and you probably just scroll down without actually reading the story. Im sorry for u
Yes, yea. But what i meant by linear is that the narrative structure of the story presents events in the order they happen, but it's not the case in here since the author mixes up their past and future. That's why people thought they missed out some details bcoz u may be reading their present rn n then the next chapter the setting is happening in their future (their older ver)
Ok bro
