Honestly, I think I am too used to manhwas in which characters are taking too much time to be called minimally healthy, to talk. I felt nearly uncomfortable (not in a bad way, but yeah) to see that they actually talked? When I saw ml accepting the facts that, „alright he has the reason to help me and I fine with it, as well as I think I am open to see where this relationship will go generally” I was so surprised that it’s actually funny. I think I read to much of toxic things to actually be used to stuff like this. I am happy, really happy because adults are adulting and so on, but i can only be amazed that there is so much toxicity in media that made me think that being able to talk things out is such an amazing thing. Dunno. But I am glad and I don’t really need this trope of „I don’t believe you” taking next 30 chapters and I really hope that at least this author won’t focus on stuff like this. Just let adults be adults, act like adults and make decisions not acting like early teenagers. Talking things is hard but I feel like this is such overused thing to make every manga (besides the ones that actually has reason to its distrust due to various reasons) based on trope of dishonesty, distrust and being unable to hold an honest conversation. I don’t mind w bit of twist here and there but making it a core of plot makes me feel like they won’t last even if manga has a good ending, sorry for rambling but generally it made me feel really weird ╥﹏╥
How the hell I let it marinate for so long and it’s still slow burning sooooo much??? Damn…….. Gotta read it maybe in next half year
