my soccer coach basically helped me get all the way to nationals before I even entered highschool. I admit, I was nervous, as I was playing a year up and remained the youngest on the team. I hadn't been with him for long, but my skills improved dramatically. But I had to quit soon after (as many others did) as he continually bashed my performances. I remember being nervous once and he said "this is while you'll never be good at anything." straight to my face because I had a lack of confidence because I was playing LIVE on TELEVISION. anyways. Confidence took a hard blow even though we ended up placing 2nd in the entire nation of the US for our age. anyways, had a mini flashback there. thanks for reading this lmfao
