it’ll be nice to see a MC that only knows games from a political/action angle. i’m tired of the airhead MC trope.
just bc he switched back to his child form doesn’t mean that this story that hasn’t had pedophilia for 60+ chapters is suddenly going to have it. i understand yall feeling uncomfortable, but that’s just unrealistic at this point. him switching to his child form is a whole separate thing from them getting it on. TaeHyuk didn’t like him as a child at all, and it seems like some ppl are trying to correlate their backstory to why they’re worried some “pedo shit” is gonna happen when it simply did not go down like that. yes, it’s weird that TaeHyuk fell in love with the supposed child he raised. it’s very weird. but yall do know HyoUn was never an actual child the whole entire time he and TaeHyuk knew each other, right? that dragon was full-grown. he only was in the form of a child because that was the first thing he saw. he wanted to be human, so he chose a child-like form (i may be missing a piece of his reasoning, but that was def part of it). the only thing weird is TaeHyuk being willing to switch from the role of father/mentor to lover within a few months to a year (idk how long HyoUn was pursuing him in the beginning). him being a pedo would have meant he was sexually attracted to him as a child, which doesn’t happen. he just has some moralistic issues.
and HyoUn is sick rn, so his form is probably fucking up and caused him to switch back. that might be the form that he doesn’t have to exert himself to take up. so, again…weird? yes. pedo shit? no.
there are ppl saying it’s rape and ppl saying it’s not. okay. it IS rape for the people saying it isn’t.
rape, by definition, is penetration of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without consent.
but, on the other hand, i understand why some people don’t feel like it’s rape. they’re judging by the vibes the situation gave off. one side of the argument is a anti-rape, doesn’t matter the intent type, and the other side is trying to look at the emotions of both Richard and Courtney. and i also think a lot of the problems the anti-rape side stems from the concern that other readers are desensitized to the real life implications of this chapter because of the fact that the story is fiction. no matter if you continue to read it or not, Richard was wrong in not stopping. it was clearly hurting her and even if she wasn’t in pain, he has a obligation to stop when she asks and vice versa.
this is how i see it…it was definitely a case of assault, regardless of his intention. doesn’t matter the specifics of what she meant by stop, he should’ve stopped when she yelled the first time. however, it’s also realistic to say, “hey, this is their first time. he doesn’t know what he’s doing.” sure, we can say that. at the same time, he still should be held accountable for his actions. it’s wtv to say he made a mistake, but it’s a fine line of just doing that and EXCUSING what he did. his actions were violent.
there’s no excuse, but there can be room for understanding and learning. he’ll be punished, they’ll move on, and they’ll continue the sex. it was a moment of sexual violence that won’t be seen again as they gain more experience together. but if we’re all being honest, though, this whole sexual interaction has been sketchy without the proper safeguards to dabble into BDSM. no safe words, no lube, and he wouldn’t even let her test the toy on herself to not hurt him for Christ’s sake.
if you can’t stomach an awkward, sketchy first time, then this isn’t for you. skip these scenes or stop reading or do wtv makes you comfortable. you know what you hate and aren’t able to tolerate. to say that this chapter was sudden violence is not true. this whole sex scene has been done incorrectly from the start.
and they STILL haven’t confessed to each other…hurry up with your perceptiveness, Vivian like fr what is possibly missing for her to put it all together when she does it with everything else!!! dammit no hate cuz i love this story but im tired yall
i had to stop mid-way thru the third chapter cuz i knew that shit was coming. i’m pissed that the title really didn’t lie
bc they were just gone for a month and now they’re gone again…is the bad juju from the story crossing over to real life?
so we heard a bit about why she’s angry, but why to this extent??? i need more explicit details about what happened. they’re being so vague abt the issue and her hate for Lapileon is so deep that it can’t be explained properly with what they’ve given us. anyone know what actually happened???
ppl been saying this in the comments but like…is it not weird that he doesn’t recognize her off the rip? ik that he found ‘charred remains’, but how does he know that the ashes came from his daughter’s body? a necklace is good for evidence, but is it as substantial as a DNA test? plus, if he knows sooooo much about this one-year-old child he hasn’t seen in like a decade, how could he not feel a little more persuaded that she’s his daughter? the girl looks JUST like him.
idk if i’ll ever like Cesare. this brother/sister thing is way too weird. if you’re siblings, just leave it at that. like, there’s no critical point where there’s a shift in mindset either. it’s always an assumption of her intentions that makes him treat her inappropriately that feels rapey, especially in ch 20.
I liked it. This kind of dynamic is something I’m not used to. I just wish there was more of an explanation on why sucking Rui’s blood (and bodily fluids) turned Momoichi on…I think that’s why I couldn’t give it five stars. I feel like there should be more ngl…
so Rezef is both Raphael and Cayena’s half-brother??! wilddddd imagine if this was real and having to explain that at a family function
