I think the only reason it is like that is cuz he ISN'T the ML. We all hate him cuz he's a villain and he aint cute. If he was cute tho it would've been different 100%.

Actually there is a reason for that. He was originally a good person. A dumb one when it came to relationships but a good person nonetheless. Anyway he is being controlled by one of the fate sisters. Same with Lilith. I feel bad for them.
