You're so right! This is the proper take, not the people victim blaming Mu. Every time I think Yuanxun couldn't handle this any worse he somehow tops himself:D

The problem is the manhwa adaption is dragging it out. So a lot of readers here get frustrated that Song is not apologizing, but it has to happen next chapter ( I'm still surprised the manhwa still isn't there), if the author doesn't find a way to add more panels to drag it out.
In my opinion the main reason why Song is following Mu around at the moment, is that he is concerned about Mu. Mu is in a foreign city/country and seems to have a total breakdown because of what happend. I think it would be different if they where at home, there it would be more likely that he gives Mu some time alone before going after him again.

I get what you mean and i understand that Song is concerned for Mu’s wellbeing. But I just think that if I was in Mu’s place, the last thing I would want is the source of my trauma silently following me around when I just want to leave, cool down and have some space to think alone. Sure, the storm definitely complicated things a lot so (￣∇￣")
But the thing that annoys me the most is Song acting normal, like nothing happened and even getting confused as to “why is Mu being so cold” when it is obvious why. He needs to understand Mu’s feelings and apologise properly. It’s actually kind of weird he doesn’t at least try to explain himself and instead opts to follow Mu around, because right now Mu doesn’t know what he is thinking and that makes the whole situation scarier for him.
Also the fact this scene is getting dragged out may be contributing to my feelings towards Song lol I hope this scene ends soon and he can redeem himself properly

What I mean with dragging it out:
- in the novel Mu finds out in chapter 22 and Song explains and apologizes in chapter 24 (also there is some more stuff he explains in a later chapter, when Mu asks him), so there is one chapter inbetween. And the chapters are IMO not that long.
- in the manhua (damn, forgot it was a chinese story^^) Mu finds out at the end of chapter 39 and it seems, that the apology/explanation comes next chapter, that would be 44 (or if the manhwa somehow drags it out more 45). So there are several chapters inbetween, instead of just one chapter in the novel. And for readers who are anticipating an apology from Song and waiting for it in the "next" chapter again and again, I think they are more frustrated with Song when they are reading the manhua.

Yes, that’s also what I meant at the end of my last reply. I haven’t read the novel, but I think because of the pace of the manhua I’m getting too annoyed at Song (bc it’s being dragged out like u said). Hopefully they pick up the pace soon (￣∇￣") I’m excited for the next few chapters!
