Is Giovanni Daniel his full name. I’m also confused on everyone’s ethnicity. Gio and his adoptive family seem to be Italian American, which makes Noah American. And Felix is Korean? One more possibly spoiler Q although I think we all know now...
If Gio is related to Leegang then he’s actually Korean as well???? Did his new family change his name. I don’t remember them adopting him from a different country. They shouldn’t have been speaking the same language initially.... Maybe I just need to reread this. Haha
I hear ya, but Giovanni isn’t a Korean name, it’s Italian. So that makes sense if the names have been whitewashed.
But if he’s going by “Daniel” at work. it makes me think it must be his last name. Which is confusing because - while it can be a last name (surname/family) - Daniel is most often a first (given) name.
Appreciate the upload and the time it took to do this but if you have to use google translate then please don’t bother. This goes for anything. If it’s unintelligible then there’s really no point, we can’t understand it in the original Korean and we can’t understand it with google translate either.
Google translate is meant to be a quick fix and works best one word at a time. Try to recruit a translator if you want to keep uploading. Again, we do appreciate the effort... just not the outcome.
Yeah, if you really want to pick up a project, you've got to out 110% into it, by looking at dictionaries and searching multiple auto translators. Just one isn't enough ┗( T﹏T )┛
People say be thankful for every little thing we get, but if I have to read my home language getting butchered, then I'd rather not appreciate it
Yeah, I don’t get the logic there either. I’d rather wait for a team to pick it up then read an unintelligible version. Once it’s been translated the likelihood of someone redoing it so low. So in most cases we’ll never get to know what actually happened. (Thankfully this one has been licensed in English)
Woah. Some of y’all need to chill out. The facts are that the translation is not great. However, we’ve had much worse for this story and we do super appreciate it! This translation is still overall very understandable. We lose some of the nuance in language and a little of the original authors intent but you’ll lose some of that in any translation. The blurry scans are a little harder to get past. Some of the small text isn’t even legible anymore. That said, we can kindly let them know and I’m sure they can do better next time. That’s usually an easy problem to fix.
Thanks for your hard work! As a part of a scan team myself I know it can be trying!
Was the translation always so... off?
