i like this though. if she had never met her, sure she wouldve never went through this heartbreak in the first place. but she also wouldnt have opened up to someone and had such an experince with another person. she wouldnt had changed, even if being with kaori was walways gonna be temporary, she wouldnt have learnt the value in being with people. finding friendships, and a lover. kaori didnt change her, but she was the catalyst in her life that pushed her to change herself and open up. now she can hopefully strive for the things shes passionate about, try to be happy and especially not shut herself from other people again.

the more i think about this manga, the more i want it to become ashow or atleast a movie. please, it would be so beautiful. its so fucking tragic and i want more people to see this.

im happy that even though she died the manga still ends in a happy way? even though she (understandably) shut her self off she realised she should do the opposite. its so easy to do the easiest thing by not interacting with other people incase theres a risk of something going wrong, whether its a breakup, fading friendship or in this case someones death. but there will be a risk in everything, and even if you go through the worst possibillity, you can still have dear memories, and a wonderful experince you can rember in the aftermath. and instead of shutting yourself off, you can still find other amazing and dear people. although it hurts to go through, and it makes you vunerable, you can still come back, change and still be a happier person. and you will always cherish and love what the person meant to you, and the kind of person they themselves were.

Lowkey i wanna imagine the dude realising that he does have the ability to love. Him approaching love in a less cynical way and finding someone. Him realising and using his experince from the other dude and then becoming open you know? As well as the other guy healing from his break up and finding someone new as well. 2 dudes figuring themselves out as they go and both hopefully finding someone they love.
Like a breakup it doesnt have to be the end of the world for them esp mc, they could learn from the experince and become better people. while also accepting what happened, without resenting the other but instead understanding the other and continue to go on their own paths. The other charater seems to be moving on and going forward in life. And i wish the same for mc. Id love to this as a bittersweet open ending rather then a completely sad one.
