I tend to avoid dubcon, incest, problematic age gaps, large power dynamics, and all that other stuff cause it is not my thing. I use to organize my reading lists but now they’re kinda just a hot mess (I apologize to my devout followers for not living up to my virgo title). I reccomend checking out my BL with a genuine romantic development list since it’s the one I regularly update.

Ok sue me, but I need some recommendations. I’m currently OBSESSED with the “When The Villainess Loves” and I need some more main leads with the dynamic of suffering from an external or physical issue (terminal illness, abusive family etc) but still had a strong, admirable sunshine personality.
I’m a bit wild but I love the trope of “suffering and others around them being shocked that they’re smiling despite it.” It would be awesome if anyone could recommend me anything. Idc if it’s GL, BL, or SL ( ´▽｀) Thanks!
