yeah its a BL but its more plot oriented and their BL is more like a side character stuff and their dynamic is similar thats why i suggested it, i love those BLs that are more into plot with a dash of smut which actually hits way harder then thwop fwop in first chap ( my opinion tho) so i gues sthe OP will like these reads even if they are official BLs hence my suggestions

Follow the Sheep in the Abyss is a BL flavored hunter one but I guess it is mega slow burn like how hunter just wants to live a quiet life is. I wouldn't say its the same level of magnificent, the pacing can be a bit weird and not as much world building, but it is still enjoyable!

Oh! And also one I am SUPER into which I heard kind of have some BL vibes is Got Dropped into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work. It is very funny, more isekai than hunter verse like greatest estate developer, but I would say very high tier enjoyable, the MC reminds me of Jio in there, where he is stone faced and people misunderstand him

Oh, actually, I Became a God in a Horror Game is kind of similar, though that MC is actually pretty level headed. That one has beautiful art and interesting story, not as well crafted, but I heard it actually has BL later on
