it would be so good if authors didn't force shitty female characters and straight men writing women stuff
like there are so many ways to write good female characters and these people choose "useless + obsessed with mc + damsel in distress" for all of it
exploring her privelege and explaining pity vs goodwill was great, love it.
But her being nonsensically attached to mc for no reason other than for straight men's fantasy made it so much worse.
She's a tool for her father, an object following MC, the first thing she does is try to marry him... so annoying

To all the people wondering why MC isn't just brute forcing with her strength consider the following:
If she killed all the people willy nilly the system could become more corrupt and/or unpredictable
She is over 500 years old. Her emotions are dead and she's jaded from constantly struggling. She probably doesn't care about the insults and behaviors of infants (her father is like 1/10 her age and the prince 1/30)
MC's goal was returning to her world, and after giving that up the penalty of losing her only friends (constellations) is probably terrifying because then she'd be truly "alone"
I wish she would kill the father and emperor and prince but I think the 500+ year old woman is better than us at judgements.
Her being oblivious to romance when the entire quest is romance is funny at least. The actual romance fucking sucks unfortunately

I love MC and constellations
I hate every romance target dxcept demon king constellation
I love the family dynamics with bad brothers slowly improving their relationship and MC finding out that it's the father's fault that the siblings are so fucked. Love how she goes more lenient after finding it out and treats them like a grandma raising two little brats (brothers) and disowning bitch ass manchild (duke)
[ending spoiler]
ngl the ending would have been so much more impactful if MC or duke died
I had a small feeling nobody would die so all tension wasn't there throughout the whole thing
if the duke died it would have been so symbolic of how his love for MC was worth giving up his immirtality for since living an eternal life without his life's only purpose isn't one worth living
or MC's death would have made the duke's situation so much more difficult choosing to die or continue living for the sake of his dead family...
and the prince only changed due to MC so who knows how he would be if she was gone.
I love a happy ending but sometimes I wish the high stakes actually mattered
