fiction with emotional aspects is specifically designed to trigger your sense of emotions and many aren't understandifn what the author is putting down
for example, I CAN empathize with MC having neglectful father and dead mother for the sake of enjoying the manhwa more.
emotional investment is part of what makes so many FAKE. FICTION. NOT REAL. stories so enjoyable to read.
If you read fiction without the ability/need to emotionally connect with the character to understand them on a deeper level, then enjoy your surface level read.
You are ignoring my point completely btw. I had a problem with people hating on MC while having zero understanding of her character, using empathy I can derive that a sheltered noble woman obviously is naïve and makes bad decisions which is clearly not being understood by many.

Not liking someone for their bad decisions because of how they grew up though isn’t really a good excuse though trying to be genuine here I’m just blunt. Because to go to the extremes if someone became a criminal who has abused or hurt others because of how they were raised that would not excuse them because they start to hurt others the way they were hurt, so I think people are saying MC hasn’t been changing much of herself or her decisions, but honestly I don’t care that much I don’t mind the way they wrote her

MC is one of the best female characters I have seen in soooooo long in a manga.
Schnee on youtube has video for Arcane on well written women and this MC fits into a great MC
Many other mangas have one dimensional female MCs including the shoujo genre.
