Oh dear, then it must've been incredibly uncomfortable with reading the last few chapters.
Let's hope that the rest of the story was worth that discomfort.
Here what I do when I get uncomfortable with something in a Manga/Webtoon, I would open up my art problem and just make them go *POOF*, or read the novel instead.
Although the editing may take a bit of time compared to just pushing through, later on when you want to read the chapter, it will be easier!
Also, I do not recommend biting the tongue as a way to cope with anything really, perhaps it's just all those chinese novels getting to my head, but it kinda worries me. How 'bout a stress ball? Or just a ringtone that makes a silly noise to get your mind off of your discomfort?
