Hito September 4, 2020 5:40 pm

Is this based on a novel?

Hito September 1, 2020 2:49 am

The uke is grown. He was a Yakuza in chapter 1, wearing a suit.

The seme's age now, I have no idea.

Please and thank you

I like him but he is almost as dense as a rock.

Hito August 19, 2020 3:25 am

What an unsatisfying story. There was nothing unique about it, nothing new or fun to read. I kept reading expecting it to get better. (It didn't).

Hito August 18, 2020 12:38 am

Someone explain the uke to me??? Cause I neither like him nor understand him.

I’m trying so hard to understand his rational for why he does what he does and he just comes across as just so stupid and self destructive

It’s called empathy. You either have it or you don’t

You know sympathy and empathy are different? Empathy means you actually understand someone’s feelings. I can sympathize his pain but if I can’t understand or fathom his experience, lacking empathy in this situation makes complete sense. why he would choose to be self destructive in this way Is something I have nor would I choose for myself. He know full well his actions are counterproductive. granted people can act irrational, so I can sympathize that he’s said about unrequited love but I can empathize with someone who causes his own pain purposely.

Why did I say unrequited love I meant to say personal insecurities. Mixed up in my head another plot of a similar self destructive character.

    All of what you said.

The antithesis of love isn't hate. It's indifference. Basically, Sachio feels that no one in his life has ever truly cared about him. So, he set out on a destructive path, hoping someone would care enough about him to stop him. The less he felt people cared about him the more destructive he'd become. And then he found that supreme prick who only ever saw him as a convenient hole. And since Sachio has negative self esteem, he figured f*** it, at least someone wanted him. Even if it hurt, it's still better than nothing. Or something along those lines.

Just because I empathize with a person doesn’t mean that I sympathize with them. It’s the lack of empathy that leads to hate/oppression/wars. Say you’re Christian, you can empathize (understand) with Muslims even if you don’t sympathize (agree) with their beliefs. Instead of saying I don’t understand Muslims. I neither like nor understand them.

Okay, I can understand the logics behind that. Thanks for the explanation.
