i wasn't quite satisfied finishing this manhua (finished the reread) and grabbed my chance to read through the books and finished legitimately just now and i am a crying mess because the way they love each other so sincerely is making my heart so so warm. there are 8 extras in total, as well. they show more on what isn't covered in here.

if you just search for the name and attach "epub" or "pdf", there will be several links for people that cannot pay for the books. i seriously recommend to go through them because the details to certain parts makes the story even better and easier to understand !
the illustrations provided inside the books are also really beautiful and gives a better idea about the scenes that it focuses on. it's also genuinely fun to see how the story differs in some parts and read "new" things in between of what we do know.

i spent my last 5 days reading all 5 of the books and it is 10/10 for me. really enjoyable, easy to read and way better to understand on what they are talking about as well ! comedy is 10/10 and so are the action scenes written out.

pleaseee give it a try and take time to dive into them.

this isn't even funny anymore, i seriously can't move on from these two sillies. they have manifested themselves inside my brain and now i keep rewatching and rereading their story as if anything would ever change about it.

i used to be heavily inside the fandom during the time it first came out. (like 2018/19 ish) twitter was raging full of ppl falling in love w them. i only left after the second season of the donghua came to an end (busy w life) and randomly thought of them this year,,,

please wangxian have mercy on me and let me go. the plot itself is peak as fuck, it is sooo damn fun and i do like how we got these differences in how the story goes while keeping the key points of the main plot.

they invented soulmatism man. silly wei wuxian and silly lan zhan and their silly banter and it's just so...... lovable. theyre both so intertwined with each other, their connection always makes me bawl like a child cuz it is so tender and intimate i hate them

the only surprise for the story for me was to see alex at his house and spy on them, to be honest. and to know how he 'disappeared'.

i liked getting to know of their memories and how they ended up where we are and such but the story itself feels a tiny bit shallow..? i really don't know how to pinpoint it. like that's the whole plot anyway so why do i feel like it's weak lmaoo

jade really got the shittiest outcome to it all. also, i would have liked seeing a bit more of the friend + the sister. the characters were never there at all and only in a few moments where it needed to be a bit tense between them lol.

i liked the little thing of him buying himself some flowers cause no one else would. a dead guy buying flowers for his own grave ^^ not something i've come across yet.

noah falling trap for his own tricks twice made me feel good to see him suffer the same a bit.

but dylan locking him away like that... kinda makes the ending weird. i do get how it lead to that outcome (somewhat) but it feels like it doesn't really fit in the way the story progressed at all.

there's kinda lots of holes in this but whatever, it was still fun in some ways

legitimately clicked on this so randomly but the comments sharing the good news about a sequel might be the best thing to ever happen to me this year, so far. ALONG W/ SK8 OVA

started on the anime wayy back when it was airing on the anime site i used, rewatched the anime for about 6 times so far and read the manga 3 times cause these boys are so dear to me. i hope whatever form the sequel takes i can get my hands on a physical version

i followed this story back in 2020 when it first appeared and read along with the updates 'til the very last chapter of it and i Love it. (on my 5th reread currently)
i really like the character growth they have and learn how to be with each other and what not. they influence each other in good ways!
the story is fun to follow and light in some chapters and more serious in some other parts. they're both really cute and interesting to get to know.

now the side stories are a whole different thing (i skipped them myself)
not only did the art style change but so did the story and all of their progress to where it ended. it's really disheartening and i'm kind of mad about it. it ruins the whole series in a way. (it's like all of that what happened between them got erased and they have this weird relationship going on. and also the smut between them wasn't something i craved either..? it was unnecessary)

of course if one wishes to read the sides anyway, go for it. but i really wouldn't recommend them.

with how it started, no one would ever be able to predict what way the story will turn out in the end. it hit pretty hard as someone that goes through the same thing as akiyama himself, so that made me sob like a baby. but just in general with the progress of their involvement with each other! it was interesting to follow along

this was pretty hard to swallow all that was said and stuff but i just love how realistic and understanding asada nemui has written about it. it's obviously hard and not always easy with just some love to get over some Stuff, but it showed akiyama looking out on the field and appreciate the moment of what he sees. it really is the most simple things in life sometimes. that part really stood out the most after everything. and to have haruhiko stand by his side after all of that, it was sorta sweet.
this story was fun in its own way. akiyama IS a pretty cute and gentle soul

so colorblindness is clearly a huge issue for their world cuz i honestly don't quite understand the fuckin problem everyone of them has with it lmao. even the teacher,,,?
the plot of it was fun to follow tho! i did like the idea to it but then again, for us readers it wasn't really a problem either cuz the manga is colorful and bright for us regardless lol. i would have liked a little bit of more to how he sees the world ^^ just a little bit. the impact would be doubled.
while i do like cheng a loooot, bai lu is kinda annoying at times. his attitude is kinda clashing against my own personality so he pisses me off when he has his moments lmao. (when it got a bit unreasonable even for his stand point)

aint loving the ending one bit. so pissed off. why the hell cheng the one apologizing alone up there while he didn't even do anything ??,&?&?&
that was ASS.

i love this story and how it progresses and yet every time it suddenly changes to the american names, i break it off every single time.

it's been, like, 2 years since i last reread this story and forgot it switches up like that and it's so off-putting and uncomfortable LMAO

eungi aint even hard to say... why he become edward like cmon,, who the hell is Edward well it's still cute tho. as i know the story itself i kinda know how it ends from my memory so that's where i'm gonna leave it this time around as well (chp. 57 is so close to the ending too but idk it just makes my mood drop seeing those names)

started to read it when it only had like 20-ish chapters and thought it was the end of it but decided to reread it as adult-me and the development with these two and how their relationship progressed further on and how ridiculously in Love they are with each other is honestly so tear jerking.

the things that are being said in this manga are so so memorable and stand out a lot. it's also very comforting in a way? everyone is so kind in here. really a very good story that never lost its spark til the end (for now, it seems.)

once there is more, i will definitely start their journey from the beginning again. it's stories like this that move your heart in more than just one way. it's also the growth itself that we follow along.. it's seriously touching.

sometimes i really enjoy reading some stupid ass shit to get my giggles out because this didn't make sense whatsoever. 15 chapters of absolute garbage. love min tho <3 he a real one.


and to all ivantill ppl: nothing about them is even CLOSE to resembling them. i don't get how yall even go there
