The mangaka isn't trying to make Rina look innocent, they're showing the fact that there are many wrong ways to handle an affair between spouses, like berating them and abusing them in front of your children. Rina's obviously not a better person just because of this. She's still a manipulator and a homewrecker, plus it's basically implied that she's probably the one who's made her husband get to this point.

And in the end, you hurt your hand. So, Rina's husband love her so much but he can't help himself when he got violent whenever he remember her cheating.
If thats what your point of view, then it is. But if you cheat, wont you think of what your husband feels? And you can see how twisted Rina is. I know women work harder but why cheating? You have someone you make promise with. So if he can't handle the pain you cause and got violent because he dont know how it deal with it, nobody to blame but you. And this goes for your husband, if he do the same you'll have lots of choices. His situation is he cant let her go but its painful to stay with her. If you ask whos the fool here, it would be Rina. Why she wants someone else's happiness? And destroy it? When she have a husband that love her so much?. And a good parents is a parents that endure all the problems. Because they can't let their children raised without a father or a mother.

We're crazy-mad in love, and I plan to die at his side. But when we were dating (way back when), I told him I'd kill him in his sleep if he cheated on me. I meant it back then. I was young.
Now, I'm chill. I've seen marriages where people cheat and then don't go nuts (get hurt, get mad, but not NUTS) and those people can find new hope and love and make it work out. People who turn violent, vicous, nuts, vengeful: they won't be able to fix that problem. They simply make new problems. So, while I understand fury and desires for vengeance, I figure you either divorce or fix it. Forgive or leave.
For drama--and this is a manga, so we want conflict and drama--they're gonna do stuff that makes for suffering and damage. Rina to me is evil. The husbands are weak. The betrayed wife is wishy-washy. That's all understandably human-falwerd. But I can't respect violence OR cheating in revenge. Make a decision. Live with it.
And the husband may love her a lot, but he's controlling OTHERS, not fixing the problem. He is doing stuff that makes others to blame for what is, at heart, his wife's fault (she is the seducer looking for thrills/love/sex/romance). He needs to stop punishing others. He needs to fix the mess with his wife or leave her. Only choices he has other than endure and let her cheat.

A perfectly happy person doesn't just wake up one day with cheating on his/her mind; the relationship had to have been rocky beforehand. I like to think of their marriage as a wobbly chair (strong relationships are even or just a tiiiiny bit wobbly). Rina cheating was like removing all of the legs from the chair. That's where she was a bitch; instead of putting in the work to fix that wobble, she chose to rock back and forth on it until the legs just broke.
Her husband hitting her was like taking those removed parts and putting them in a wood chipper. And that's where he was an asshole. With the broken chair, he could have chosen to either throw it away, or try to put the legs back on, but he chose instead to escalate the situation. With each bad action from either one of them, the relationship becomes less and less reparable.

When I read it got the impression that he was still just joking because Ishikawa never openly expresses his love. Honestly, I feel like Yamaguichi only wanted to give Ishi a sense of how he feels. Ishi's always telling Yama how their just friends with benefits and pushing him away; I believe Yama and Ishi's sister only want to be friends and allies, nothing more.
