Guys, I have a question. Has it ever been mentioned why there's like the shade of black on his arms? At first, I thought it's the sleeves of his shirt, but then I still sees it when the shirt is off. So I though maybe he was stained with something black, but he looks like he washes himself, but it's still there. So, I wonder if there's an explanation to it that I might've missed.

I know they did bad in the past, but despite that, I kinda want the kind red hair brother to have a redemption arc and make up to our MC and become a supporter for him.
Though that's just my "family bonding" obsession wish

Honestly I get what your saying, but my own experience with such weak willed men.. ugh.. better be a pretty rough arc if he’s gonna have one.. like loose everything! Not once… even as an ADULT, did he stand up to his crazy mother! I feel bad for his new wife.
Plus he never actually looked for his baby bro after he ran off… totally useless, spineless mommas boy. I feel like even if they had known the secret of the mirror it woulda never chose him. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

We’ll I can support your dreams! I too get quite delusional with my desires for different characters! I can get on board if arc is gritty for sure. Part of me is a sucker for family bonding as well, only experience it in fiction, gotta remind myself to not be so jaded haha! I empathize so much with MC, I want him to have all the good things!!!

Damn. Looks like there's a war going on between people who don't like MC and people who don't like everyone around MC.
But for me, I'm personally enjoying it, tho I am annoyed that she would make up her own judgement for everyone else and still somehow reliant on the book, it's understandable. It's still annoying, but I love the flaw of the characters.
Is it just me or the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2 doesn't make sense at all?
Our FL, who's shown to be smart, suddenly lost it and make a dumb move when she finds out Paris is attacked. It was so unexpected to me when she suddenly just storm over to Romeo and just curse at him with no proper evidence or support, and stupidly challenged him to duel as if that would do anything?
Then the red hair guy, just storming in with our FL as if he's outright saying "I'm not on your side anymore" right to Romeo's face rather than just play double agent and backstab him to help FL.
Then it's the weird thing with the prince and Paris, prince just like "Oh I need to calm her down, but I, a prince, can't do shit and needs this man on sickbed who happens to be awaken at the perfect timing to stop her."
And it makes no sense how the messenger from the red haired guy able to inform the prince at the palace when our FL challenges Romeo, then the prince has to travel to Paris estate to tell him, and then the two able to travel to where Romeo and FL are at to intervene them while they're still dueling as if it took less than 10 minutes.
Then it's weird how all it took was a look at Paris, then FL suddenly calms down and back away even tho she was mindless enough to swordfight a man with her life on the line and it's weird how Romeo, who should give no shit about this, just watching and letting the duel ends. Even more, how Paris and FL just acts all vulnerable and defenseless when their enemy is right there with a sword in hand.
Then Juliet suddenly bringing poison tea for her grandma is out of nowhere and how convenient that the red head and FL are there and like "We knew this all along", but then the sudden attack and despite being shown off as smart woman, the grandma just seems unprepared for some reason. Then they just so happens to forgive Juliet and Juliet miraculously change her mind and be the good guy, but then how someone as cunning as grandma easily have her guard down despite their place being attacked and ended up killed just from an arrow. And then she's just having this moment "I am proud of you" with FL for no reason even though they're surrounded by enemies and not even fighting back. And despite supposedly changing for better, Juliet just stupidly goes to them and despite angry, FL just sits there and watch? And then they just leave her alone suddenly?
And afterwards, she goes to her baby, right? Nah, she went to Paris as if her baby doesn't exist and how coincidence that Romeo was just sitting there all the time waiting for her.
Also, not to mention, all that was shown is Romeo being a deadbeat who's arrogant, yet how does he happen to have such loyal and capable allies who not only able to attack FL family, but also attack the palace and overthrown the prince? How is the crown prince, who's shown to be hardworking, just becomes so weak that he's beaten by this deadbeat? And how the heck did the people just accepts and lets Romeo become prince? "Oh this guy that causes chaos by pretending to be dead with a girl to elope and then suddenly returns to cause more chaos? Yeah, he's capable to be a ruler"
And seriously, it's so out of character for Romeo to just let FL slide so many times when she's supposedly just a tool for him. Then we have FL, just following along with everything he says all of a sudden?
Then we have that stupid moment where FL's overprotective of her son, always acting like she's gonna kill Romeo if he gets even close to her baby, yet suddenly just like "Okay. My baby can go to this man I despises for a few minutes" and it so happens that Juliet is there to see it.
So... Yeah. Everything felt like it make no sense. Characters that should be smart and strong suddenly become not smart and strong, things that shouldn't have become messy somehow become messy without clear explanation, and I still can't fathom how Romeo is able to do all of these when he doesn't look like he's capable of doing so.
