Haven't read this yet. I keep seeing mentions about memory loss in the comments and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a frustrating part. I really wanna try to read this but I'm a coward. This is still ongoing and I'm waiting for this current problem to be resolved in the future chapters. Can anyone pls tell me when (at what chapter) Claude loses his memory? I'd want to pause reading before then. ( ̄∇ ̄")

I didn't like the problem at the beginning about that guy from the past. A misunderstanding like that is just so overused that I almost dropped this furing the earlier chapters. It was also easily resolved anyway. The whole story would have been fine even without it. Maybe they just wanted to include a part where Kotaro is the one that gets insecure and not just Ayumi (later on)...?
Also, there was a cringey part with K on that talk. He insisted on the vitality of expression of love through words as if K & A's relationship was struggling because of that and as if him being able to would change anything. K had long moved on from that conflict being told "I like you." But I get that the author must have thought that there was a need to emphasize that K & A's connection transcends words (so it's genuine) in order to stage a scenario where K could tap out. But it just felt weird and forced to me. I don't understand how K came to the conclusion that a "talk" (publicized interview) with A about love could decide whose feelings were stronger (K was surprised about A's public confession so it seemed that K was not ready to come out all. I don't see any advantage for him in HIS OWN plan). It the made the obviously unbalanced love triangle (angle or whatever's more appropriate) look more rigged.
Other than that, there's no bullsh*t drama here about denying/hiding feelings to the point of frustration. Every character was steadfast when it came to what they felt.

Do contraceptive pills not work on omegas in heat? Or do you think that maybe they just didn't have any even in the black market in this case?
I hate sounding like an apologist but if the answer to both questions is a "No" then L definitely isn't without fault for the second and third pregnancy knowing he also craved for E who he (L) knew wanted to knock him (L) up.

The pregnancy may have been unwanted but L called for E so they could do the deed. And E explicitly expressed his intention of wanting to get L pregnant the first time. Plus L knew how precarious E's state of mind was. E shouldn't have played with fire after getting burned. Then E just got rid of the baby again.
I don't think trying to make the guy fess up was too much to ask if he wanted he hand in marriage. The duke already had feelings for her without her deliberately trying. And even if they weren't romantic feelings, a clarification was definitely needed. Adele just wanted the duke to make sense of his feelings first before she enters a marriage that may have a lot of obstacles in the future.
I agree. Adele is smart, and she doesn't want to get into a onesided relationship with her already having admitted her feelings, but the duke being unsure. It would hurt both of them, and mostly Adele. So yes, I 100% agree with you.
Because it was kind of selfish of her to do that when everything is not completely over yet.
