I'm not a big fan of "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" rule but we have to note that few months ago and especially in 2019 Joowon's fans in this particular comment section were greatly mistreated.
Personal attacks were everyday occurance here.
Every pro or even neutral commen about Joowon was either reported or deleted by the number of dislikes. If someone came out as Joowon's fan he was personally attacked and haunted. People were scared to admit they like Joowon, the commen section was nearly 100 pr pro Taku. It looked like some crazy censorship.
I can't count how many times I and others have been called: mentally ill, fucked up, that we are incest supporters irl (and probably sleep with our own brothers), that we need help, therapy, medicine, that we most likely support toxic and abusive relationship irl, that we are just thirst w*ores who need man asap.
Joowon was described as one dimensional abuser without any redeeming qualities.
Yeah, I know. I've only been in the fandom for a month, and a big fan of Joowon from the start, but I've read enough comments to understand your frustration. It doesn't make (most of) this comment section any less deplorable.
We, Joowon/Haesoo shippers, would be so much smarter telling the Taku/Haesoo shippers they were wrong from the start and that we won. You shouldn't stoop so low, no matter the reason. Receiving insults from childish and immature readers doesn't give you the right to do the same. Either you answer them calmly and respectfully with arguments, so they won't have anything they can answer back, or you ignore them. That's how you win a discussion.
With that being said, my comment was about hating a fictional character and rejoicing in the pain of someone who doesn't even exist. I'm more concerned for the people who do that, than critical about their behaviour.
Like don't get me wrong. Nothing disgusts me as much as personal attacks and I always try to discuss things even if someone offend me in cultural atmosphere.
I started avoiding this particular commen section because ... It's a mess.
I really don't care if it's coming from Joowon or Taku' fans side.
We should always be respectful to each other.
But I understand some of people's frustration.
I myself don't hate any character. Although I can admit that K isn't my favorite.
They were all flawed. And I always repeated this through the story. That's what make this story interesting, that all of them weren't perfect and made their own mistakes and flaws.
But we have to notice that some people genuinely didn't enjoy Taku's character (some people didn't enjoy Joowon too).
What's more there are tons of comments how Taku deserves better or that he didn't do any wrong (or that Haesoo was misleading him...which is the most questionable one).
I always say: yes he definitely deserves better than one-sided, unrequited relationship.... But you have to notice that he kinda put himself into such situation. Of course it's not his fault he caught feelings but he begged for said relationship himself. Haesoo even warned him he needs more time and he is not ready for another relationship and firstly Taku said Haesoo can used him and then when Haesoo was still not agreeing he begged on his knees.
Okay, you're totally overinterpreting my comment. What I said was a general message, a simple observation. I could have posted it under people freely hating on Joowon. You don't have to explain the story to me.

Taejung should be more understanding and compassionate to Joyoon. yeah they may have "broken up" years ago but their relationship is just like yesterday to him. Taejung was the person he was closest too and even if he doesnt get back with Joyoon Taejung should still help him readjust to his new life and help him settle in and break things off slowly so that Joyoon isnt just left to figure everything out on his own.
