(+spoiler for the upcoming arc) he kisses her in the greenhouse while knowing thats theres 4 people watching them from behind. Even after he got caught he still tried to find ways to bring ruby back to her as far as (++spoiler) killing enzo and using the empress's daughter as a hostage so that the empress can help him bring ruby back to her side.. i hate him to death
