Cz of some reason, Shen Yu will be with the Emperor.
Wangye will be so furious want to take Shen Yu back, and make a rebellion.
Shen Yu will be coming back with Wang Ye, but he's already close his heart.
Wangye begged for forgiveness from Shen Yu, but he did not forgive him.

As for the previous spoilers, Shen Yu closed his heart because the only reason he lived (his mother) had died.
So, cz of Shen Yu didn't forgive Wangye, He (Wangye) want to make Shen Yu jealous with marrying Shen Ruofei (the girl from Shen family that make Shen Yu married with Wang Ye in the first chapter), but Shen Yu doesn't care anymore.
Move forward, Shen Yu will be die (not exactly die, but they think he's die cz he drunk the poison given by Wang Ye)
Before drinking the poison, Shen Yu already knew Wang Ye's plan to threatening him using the poison. So, He make a plans to unite Song Qing with Hong Lian (Nu Jie) before he died.
After that incident, Wang Ye realize that he can't live without Shen Yu, and becoming obsessed with Shen Yu (in this point, Wang Ye becoming a good man, cz he try to change his behaviour toward Shen Yu)
After Shen Yu wake up from his apparent death, he really changed. Now, he doesn't have any feelings for Wang Ye and now he can speak although haltingly.
Wang Ye try to make Shen Yu like him again, or at least wasn't afraid of him.
Wang Ye buy and build a home in the place outside of palace for Shen Tu to stay cz Shen Yu hate the palace.
Move forward (again), there will be a new character. He was a long distance family from Shen Yu (Shen Yu didn't know it), and want to take back Shen Yu. But Wang Ye didn't allow it.
After Wang Ye becoming an emperor, he make a a new rule, so he could make Shen Yu an empress officially.

For the one who kill Shen Yu mother, it was the Emperor. Shen Yu's mother was detained by the Emperor in a prison. When Wang Ye rebelled, the prison guards were ordered to kill everyone inside the prison so that the criminals would not come out and hurt the citizens. Sadly, that was when Shen Yu's mother was also killed.

Im confused about the timeline of this story. So, i make a conclusion
1. Earnt has reincarnated to his past life. So, i assume that the time is reversed.
2. Maybe when he mean "escape", it's just my opinion, he committed suicide.
3. Another "escape" maybe he escape from being a knight, or before he's being a knight, so he won't seeing Emperor again.
4. If im not wrong, maybe Rowinard wasn't an emperor yet, cz Earnt say he's younger and lil bit different.
That was just my opinion cz this story is a lil bit confusing.

There was a written explaination at the start of the newest chapter. The author was lazy and literally skipped ALL the important happenings (the MCs escape after the rape, his death, his reincarnation, his new life up the the point of him seeking a job and then somehow ending up in bed with the emperor-lookalike).
I've skipped this due to this abyssmal level of writing. There's a limit to how much you can skip, and this is way too much. Especially since there were zero visual cues for the start being a flashback or the new chapters being the present times.
It's confusing and not enjoyable to read and I'm not gonna stick around and read the translation group's selfwritten notes to know what the hell is going on (I very much appreciate their effort and concern for clearing up tho).
