The story, mostly chronologically. As we know it so far.
The father had a kid, Ranzo, out of a wedlock.
The wife one day found Ranzo playing with her baby, Ikuro, the true heir, and she strangled Ranzo.
Ranzo had the oxygen cut off to his brain for too long and became permanently brain damaged. Thus, an idiot, according to them.
In the midst of this the father is sexually abusing and obsessed over Ranzo and locks him up like a caged bird or insect. This may or may not have started before the strangulation.
The wife then has an affair with Norihiko, starting when he was a young teen.
The wife is finally committed after she hurts Ikuro. She later dies.
Norihiko is the one who raises Ikuro...and then he starts sexually molesting him. At about the same age as when he was by the wife.
One day, this chapter, Ikuro finally goes to kill Ranzo since he believes Ranzo is the one who is causing all of this evil shit to happen. He doesn't know that Ranzo is a victim.
Ikuro's father beats Ikuro for daring to come into the room, let alone touch Ranzo.
Ikuro goes to college and starts to have an affair with his roommate, but then his father dies.
He gets called back to his hometown and is informed he is NOT the heir, but his older brother, Ranzo, is.
Ikuro is to be married to carry on the family line and inheritance while he is the caregiver of Ranzo. So basically, Ikuro is the Regent to Ranzo being King. The overseer.
One day, this creep finds Ranzo and he gets to be the new caregiver.
The marriage happens. Ikuro can't get it up. Probably due to him being in love with Norihiko or being gay as fuck. Or sexually traumatized.
Either way, there is no way he can create a baby. So Norihiko comes up with the plan to have Ranzo impregnate the wife.
And then we come to the end of this chapter with Ikuro in the cage puking over the whole situation and makes known his desire for Ranzo to die.
