Damn, I should've of listened to that kind person on novelupdates. She was right. I felt empty inside even during the "romance scenes." Heck, it felt so forced.****SPOILER:
I felt so bad, even cried for Lizzy when she found out that she was infertile and that asshole planned it all. Lizzy was just broken at that point. To make her a fuckin' puppet who could not bear children so he and his little bitch could be together. She thought she could at least have a child to be an heir. That was her way of winning, but that fucker went a head and planned even further than that--basically, ruining any chance of her gaining happiness. I was so heart broken for her. Fuckin' asshole had the audacity to cry and be all apologetic, saying shit like even if she doesn't give him her heart he's happy with just her body there with him because he found out too late that he's in love with her. Honestly, I skipped all the shit in the middle so I don't know how the fuck he fell for her and I don't fuckin' care. Shit, I think he's a crueler in this alternative story than with her sister (they're twins by the way, found out in the novel). My reasoning, he wanted a puppet Empress that was infertile so she could have no chance at all of securing her position, neither the Emperor's love or favor all so she could be used for his bitch to take the position as Queen. Knowing that she will suffer the most in the end for not being able to bear an heir, losing her position, and possibly death. I wished the author didn't forcefully make them end up together. I mean I guess, I get that Lizzy has some feelings for him and at first it was compassion. BUT how the fuck can you sleep with a fucker like this because he was drugged with aphrodisiac by his bitch?

My god..I was even thinking that the the story flow is quite decent. I was thinking how it will go down: first, an all out war between the mc and bitch+emperor. second, she successfully secure her position, but nevertheless allows bitch to stay with emperor and emperor doesn't have any control over mc.
third, mc gets a heir and starts training him/her.
fourth, emperor (Idk how, I know this shit is bad and I actually don't want story to end up this way but I saw the cover and we all knows how its going to go down to) starts to feel different towards empress (out of respect? maybe) .
fifth, the child actually hated the emperor but emperor tries to gain his favour yadda yadda.
sixth, another war again with bitch..because the emperor starts to feel indifferent towards her.

I don't want to elaborate much about another manga, especially on this website so I'll just say a little. I've read "Lucia" and honestly I thought the manga was good until I read the novel..It's not as bad as this one, a little realistic but the female mc wasn't a go for me at the start. That's all. Feel free to critisise me.
I don't know who is worse, this Fucker who choose Infertile noble lady to be the Queen, so he could only have child with his mistress, or Charles who chose Virgin noble lady to become a baby maker because, he couldn't have a child with his mistress.
I don't typically get this upset over fictional characters, but reading this novel really made me realize this story isn't worth my time. Okay, so he had a tragic past, but he's such a flaky asshole. So he fell for her because she showed him compassion after hearing about his tragic sob story just like his bitch. So when our MC asked him if the reason why he's confessing his love to her was because of that he couldn't even deny it. Basically, he falls for anyone who shows him compassion? Like how he fell for his bitch because she pretended to care? Wait let's not forget that while he still had his bitch promoted to noble status (adopted by a duke), that asshole was still talking bullshit about "the duties of a husband," even though he had said whatever he wanted to Lizzy about a careless marriage. Fuck, the bitch had to tell him that HE had changed and that HE loves the MC. I mean, I'm speculating here, but if the bitch didn't confess that she was using him the whole time and didn't love him would he still be stringling along the both of them? He's such a fuckin weakling, half ass bastard who needs to be told what to do. BUT what really pissed me off is having to the bitch tell Lizzy that she was the one who reached out to him. Lizzy's heart and pride had already been trampled on way beyond repair, yet the author just forcibly makes them have relationship first beginning with physical contact. That's just bullshit. Maybe I'm petty or prideful, but I would never He could find a whore for all I care to relieve himself.

I ended up nearly reading the whole damn series afterall. OMG. The Emperor proves to be a loser over and over again. He's got no balls at all. It's sad to say that yes, sure Rose did manipulate him somewhat but it was mainly him. He was a fuckin coward who put on a mask on Rose like she was some innocent and pitiful bitch. His whole reasoning for not "throwing her away" was because both of them supposedly suffered from childhood trauma. His passive and flaky ass didn't do anything drastic throughout out the story and kept Rose there instead of kicking her out. Lizzy was fighting her battles by herself up until the end when she almost got killed by another assassin that bitch hired. Then that asshole finally just excepted it or not really more like it couldn't be helped because that bitch fucked up too much. What really pissed me off was his fucking attitude. "Only God knows whether I really loved her or if she really loved me." Yeah, about Rose. So he can't tell the difference between compassion or love.Some shit like that. Where's the fucking compassion for OUR Lizzy? Maybe he does end up finding out later, but the fact that he still had any sort of compassion for Rose up until the end just ruined it for me. Oh, and guess what shortly after Rose gets killed they make up there love within fuckin 7 chapters. After all the shit that happened. You wanna know how he tried to redeem himself..

As someone who has read the manga in it's original language, I must say in some scenes the word choices seem too vulgar for the situation. I understand in Japanese it has a indirect way of saying things and so sometimes it can't be translated in any other way than than being direct. But still that scene..."I want to fuck her," in chapter 7 sounds strange to me. Oh well, he did literally say that. This is only one of the smut manga I am willing to read.
I get what you mean. That scene made me pause too.
But on the other hand, I could understand his sentiment: you just want to be with the person you're attracted to, and be intimate and have sex with them. Thinking it out loud makes you feel crude but that's a natural desire to have towards someone you're attracted to.

Basically, the witch tries to intervene in everything including the party the MC setup to invite other Royals from other countries. The witch can't obviously attend so she tries to sabotage it, but the MC already planned a head. MC slaps the crap of her until there's blood. The witch goes crying to the idiot emperor, however he already heard the truth ouside their room when he was coming in for the night. He then pays the MC a visit, but doesn't say shit to her even though she expected so after the events between the MC and said witch. He goes all depress mode and sits by the river bank to wallow and surprise the MC is there too because she couldn't sleep either. He asks her why she's crying to which she responded, "it's just drool." He gives her a a handkerchief and claims it's important, but wasn't given to him by the witch when the MC asked after she blowed her snot all over it. The fool then asked her not to leave him, to which she tells him to call his mistress. She walks away, but it starts pouring rain so ends turning back to where the emperor is still standing by the river bank. She gives him her shawl to cover him from the rain. But he's unresponsive so she ends up dragging his ass to find shelter. Eventually, both heads back to the palace as she takes him to her room. She dries off first and then come to find him sleeping on her couch so she asks the maids to move him to her bed. She ends up sleeping in another room, but before that a spy maid saw the emperor enter her room that night so the witch finds out. The emperor wakes up and realizes what happened the previous night. The maid greets him and tells him she is aware that the witch is important to him, but he should go check up on the MC(? I could be wrong about this part). He responds that he does not have the right to show her any concern because the first thing he told the MC when they got married was that he won't ever love her/care for her. So he tells her maid that because of that he has to deny his true self(?).
Okay...that was not brief at all. I needed going on and on. That's just a summary of chapters 13 to 20 ish. The rest.....*Spoiler*
The emperor that fool ends up showing out MC concern again when she got hurt. He bandages her body hand after her horse accidentally bites her. That's when they actually had a proper conversation.l where he finally asks her what really happened with the witch during the party. MC asks him does he only want to know because he was to ease is worry or whatever our does he actually want the truth. He tells her he wants the truth so she tells him all about the events that night. He tells the MC that the MC probably wants to have the witch kicked out of the palace, but he can't do that. MC wants to know, but they get interrupted. So the emperor finally sees the witch's true color. So he starts to change towards the witch. Everyone else (other royals) are complimenting the pair as a perfect couple and that the MC is beautiful and wise. The witch hires some thugs to kill the MC during a hunting event later on, but instead the emperor protects her. The fool ends up unconscious so he doesn't hear the revelation from the thugs. The MC and the unconscious idiot and up jumping off a cliff into the water after getting trapped by the thugs. MC ends up saving the idiot by sucking the poison from the armor that was aimed at her but hit him. He ends up waking up after she gave him a antidote via mouth to mouth. They head back and he tells her that he knows it's the witch(??? I think this is what he says.)

At the moment, no. The emperor is only starting to learn that he's been deceived by his mistress, Rose. I really like the main female because after the incident where he took the arrow for our MC she reminds him that she hasn't forgotten what he told her on their wedding night. She doesn't hope for his love and won't do anything to his mistress, but if Rose starts something she will not hold back.
I find the art to be very attractive even though it's typical otome art style. I think it's how well the character's' personality are drawn out by the artist. Also, there's so much eye candy everywhere.
This is series is one of my guilty pleasures. I've read other "beastman" smut stories and by far this one is the best. The art is cute and the character's are likable. The smut scenes are not cringey. Sadly, though this series is cut short at only 16 chapters. So no wedding or babies. I know I wanted to see it too. This story has so much potential, honestly. Oh well...by the way the English scans were taken from Renta manga-- a paid site. Please support the artist if you're a fan.

Unfortunately, for mangas like these (smut) they like to list chapters as "volumes," not all but some do. Not the type of volumes that we typically understand, which are a compilation of 1-4+ chapters. As for the 48 chapters you see on Japan Renta or other sites it's because the chapters have been cut shorter for mobile use (android/iphone). For example instead of a whole single manga page they split up the page in sections/parts. This option is also cheaper for users that prefer to rent rather than buy. I've also noticed that Renta Japan has released another version with color manga pages for this series, which have been split into sections as well. I hope this answers your questions. I myself purchase all my manga from these sites so I had a chance to read the ending of this series.
Unfortunately, it really ends at chapter 16. I read the ending. Hopefully, the author makes a sequel.
Oh dear, that's too short this have so much potential and I'm falling in love with Sana he's such a hunky fluff and Hana is not that weak too oh well. I just hope they made a novel out of this with a wider scope
