I don't think he can see it, just like how alpheus doesn't see the black smokey aura on anastacius, I think it's the guy who got rejected by Lucas, the king who became really famous and proved Lucas wrong where a someone who doesn't have magic can still be Worthy of king, and now he wants revenge on Lucas... Seeing Taehoon’s past unfold I’m getting the feeling that it’s going to get sad, like heartbreaking sad. I know I’m stating the obvious but to me this will be the REAL reason for why he became the person he is & why his actions are as they are in the present. On another note we see how & why he hates Moon-sung, this could be where it all started.

me too, i watched these vice documentaries on school life in chicago, and some of the students act exactly like taehoon or even worse, and every one of them have a backstory, its sad asf
