I feel like the current arc of the manga is such a tonal shift from what it was before. It's hard to describe what I mean but its definitely the weakest part of the manga atm. It's so different from what was there before and it feels more like an action chase type beat instead of creepy psychological mind games stuff that was happening before.

I agree but I’m also not too surprised this is the direction the revenge is taking. As Maria said, the first two victims were the weakest, both physically and mentally, and also the most unaware so Maria could psychologically torture them.
However, the remaining gang are physically strong, more steel-willed and now aware of her, so Maria can’t mind-game them like before. So the story almost takes to an action-stealth vibe to see who can get to each other first. It doesn’t help the mind-game aspect that the remaining 3 are kinda self-aware of themselves of being shitty. They just don’t give a crap. I mean, one of them is a freaking Yakuza heir (which is a tad ridiculous, ngl). So Maria reflecting their flaws back at them is not gonna have the same impact as prior.
If you’re staying for the psychological aspect, I’m not sure I’d hold my breath for it anymore. You’re reading to see how she wins and the satisfaction of the bullies’ face when they realise they have been cornered and lost. At least, that’s why I continue to read.

Just gonna leave this here, do not read this if you are coming in wanting a revenge story.
There is no buildup to the eventual revenge or any point for it. I will explain this up just as a note I dropped the story and did not finish reading.
The revenge is on the family of the FL. But all characters involved are one-note caricatures of evil. The mother just hates her because of her low bloodline and so does the father. Father is just power hungry. They’ve known for a while where their real daughter was and didn’t get her. All their issues point back to them but there is no nuance in how the story portrays this. They really show one emotion all the time which is anger.
There is also no buildup to some revenge. For many chapters the FL is like “i’m gonna do it… I swear I will-“ and that’s it. No planning or setting up situations. Just talk.
This is an issue I found with the story that it mainly was just talk. By all the characters. A lot of tell not show. The FL just says she wants revenge, the parents just say how much they hate her, and the prince keeps saying he wants her. And all of this is just to themselves.
I thought there might be something interesting with the sister. They were setting up some interesting dynamic between them. I liked how the FL had a complicated relationship with her and her thought process was interesting. But this too ended up being wasted potential like the rest of the story.

So far this is incredible!! I highly recommend this as a read to anyone who loves shoujo isekai. It seems similar to many other stories but also incredibly refreshing! Probably because the characters and plot are so well written :)
I feel like Hestia is making the revenge her entire life atp and that is why Kael said what he did at the end of the chapter. She is so obsessed about it and that's all she thinks about. She doesn't grasp yet that she can live life normally with Kael without plotting against Diana and Kael noticed this. I think what Kael is doing is trying to get her to just stop trying to go after revenge so much and just live a happy married life.
I keep seeing people argue about it in the comment section and its not that deep. Im pretty sure misunderstandings between the two will be created, sure. But I think it is needed to change Hes's perspective on her second life.

Okay I definitely agree that hes is a little too obsessed with getting revenge and Cael has definitely noticed that. But I honestly believe that the way that he expressed himself, especially in this chapter was so wrong like he could’ve done it very differently. Nonetheless hes is very, very obsessed with getting revenge, but in a certain way, can you really blame her? I mean Cael is her favorite and she’s mentioned it a lot of times before that she lives only for him. We can’t really think about it in the perspective of us readers but rather of her point of view that without him, she doesn’t exist, especially not in a novel she randomly traveled to.
How is that not true tho? Diana will naturally have her consequences now. The only thing Hes is running on is anger and revenge. She may fall into depression and emptiness after everything is finished and be open to attacks after people and royal family figure she was behind it. Hes not making her life with Kael or even living her life a priority is harmful to her. She would have no purpose in life after her revenge.
Diana will still have consequences regardless if hestia intervened. Kael has moved on with Hes (hasn't forgiven anyone he just doesn't care and satisfied with being with Hes). So he doesn't want Hes to go down a path where she is not focusing on herself and her life.
