Don't know if I like it or not. On one hand, his sadistic personality is done pretty well- most mangas, the guy is either just a full asshole, childish, or possible just autistic. But in this one, there's a good balance of Koga's mischievousness and his tactics to lure her in. He does take it a bit too far sometimes (where I start to dislike him) but she never actually knows the truth about those times so I guess it works? I'm just sort of left with the impression that she's the type of girl who suits a guy like him...My main issue as far as the relationships in this manga are concerned is the fact that the girls seem to worship the guys like some perfect deities or something.

I can already sense trouble brewing with those friends of his, though. Side note: why does the MC always have to befriend the love rival after the fact? Can't they just agree to leave each other the hell alone?

Well some girls actually prefer it or it’s in their nature to “worship” the guy, just like how some men are like that with bissy women. For me I’m a masochist so I definitely want a sadistic guy, but I still want him to truly love and care for me deep down ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It wasn't a bad story at all but...how do I say this? The exposition was a bit... forced? Especially on chapter 8 (where I had to pause for now), it seems like the author throws in characters to force the plot along, rather than develops the characters and let the plot flow from them organically. It's a subtle difference but it really changes the way the story is received, imo.

Ex: chapter 8, the guy with the glasses is explaining the fight as it's happening and, miraculously, as soon as he explains what Tiji did and the problems he now faces, Tiji manages to get past the problem instantly! The entire scene just seemed so awkward, it reminded me of this page in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, where the background characters are desperately trying to build a background story for the MC (≧∀≦) http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/gekkan_shoujo_nozaki_kun/mf/v02/c026/5/

I get what you're saying. It feels pretty rushed throughout, and to be honest it makes it feel like kind of a waste to read. I like manga like this, but when the MC always ends up winning it's pretty disappointing. Also the fact that the characters are just quickly talked about and that's it, makes me feel like there isn't much of a story line.

Just by clicking over to chapter 24, all past wrongdoings have been forgiven, all problems are solved, and everyone's friends again. What a great happy ending!...Not (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

How can we even pretend this is an okay end? So all of a sudden the bitch Ha Eun suddenly decides she's been psychotic enough and puts all of her energy into helping the 2 get together after sabotaging them for 23 chapters? And these loving, friendly emotions towards Shin-hee, which were never even hinted at before are suddenly the motivation? Oh please, author. You've got to give your readers more credit than that.

And don't even get me started on the fight scene! People search for evidence for 2 years, and Su-yoon just brings it to a random fight scene where he pretty much hands it to the criminal. What ever happened to him anyway? He stabbed 2 people and committed arson, right? So we don't even gt a quick "oh yeah, he went to jail" afterthought? Ugh, so many glaring holes, leaps in logic, and unresolved issues in this manhwa that I can't take it!
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Dammit, I'm mad! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧╧╧╧╧╧╧

Yuika's self-doubt was extremely realistic and only the tip of the iceberg. I only wished the MC didn't help her out/cheer her on. I also wished Kayano wasn't so civil with her ex- she should have cursed at him, spit at him, and hated him (but she made the right choice not forcing that hate on her son, especially since he still thought his father was a bad guy in the end hehe). Both of them chose to pursue a relationship that they knew would scar the people around them, so they deserved to live in that filth they created.

I was hoping the selfish bitch would get dumped, frankly. What a horrible woman.

Girl I am right there with you- just wanted to nice it up a bit for the posts lol. But I thought she was a grade A asshole- trying to steal a woman's son because she felt insecure as a mistress. YOU FUCKED A MARRIED MAN! You knew he had things more important than you when you started this, so you don't have the right to feel sorry for yourself now. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 Secretly (not so secretly lol) hoping he leaves her for another woman...

I would have preferred if their careers got ruined and they actually lived in the filth instead of this.

I like this story because it really seemed to show an adult's perspective on life: ie that things often happen in ways we don't expect. This wasn't your typical shoujo doki doki kind of love tale where the heroine falls madly in love with the hero at first sight and spends the rest of the story chasing him down.

Instead, you see a relationship born of mutual convenience by two people who are initially just curious about each other but grow to care for one another over time. Most of all, I liked the maturity the main leads had regarding their relationships (both with each other and the people around them). No huge confrontations were necessary- they talked their issues out and apologized when they needed to. So nice ❀(⌒▽⌒)~. I'm curious how they managed to go that long without sleeping together, though...

"I love him deeply" -Maria about the guy she met 5 pages ago, no time skip, while she was "in love" with his brother... *sigh* ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ At least try to give her emotions some depth lol

I don't read much yuri and decided to give it a shot, and I was pleased. I can't imagine I'll like this as much as yaoi or plain hetero smut (being sexually attracted to males, I find it more satisfying to see at least 1 involved a sexual act). Story wise, however, it seemed to stand up to most yaois of a similar length, though this seemed to be particularly focused on them having sex than the romance itself, and I guess I wanted a good mix of both. Maybe next time (⌒▽⌒)

This story was so close to me liking it, but every element lacked something vital. It was a strange/interesting story, but the lack of development past the first few chapters made it boring and repetitive. The romance was almost believable, but the lack of reasoning behind their "love" made it seem more like friends playing than anything. The translation almost made sense...oh who am I kidding? I was hanging on a thread of comprehension the entire time. Btw- did the dad ever end up getting that job? After 6 months, I started to worry a bit...

    Anonymous October 20, 2016 3:34 am

Yes! That was what I was pointing towards! It doesn't feel like any serious romance, and he stays that way, so I seriously doubt it all.plus it ended like that.

The true criminal in this story was sensei. Being an adult and knowing how fragile the emotions are at that age, he really should have been more careful with his actions. At the very least, if he was aware of her emotional immaturity to be commenting on it from the first chapter, he should have taken it into consideration. But I guess that's what he meant when he said he wasn't really an adult.

I thought the story was okay- I really enjoyed the extra. I wish the manga had had a bit more time to resolve a few things. Why did Rin try to commit suicide? How long was sensei gone and what did he actually do during that time? Whatever happened to lovely Chiho? How did sensei's feelings actually change? So many loose threads...

There was no character (with more than a few lines) in this manga that I either completely liked or completely disliked so, in that respect, I'd say the author did a great job making very 3-dimensional characters. Did she end up with who I wanted her to? I'm not sure.

I didn't find Hikaru and Saitou to be all that different tbh- they both dealt with complexes in their own ways (Hikaru by playing the hero, while Saitou went with the villain role) and both were saved by Inoue's...spirit perhaps? I did slightly prefer Hikaru from a personality pov but that's really because I liked his frankness and don't care much for tsundere characters like Saitou. So I really didn't have any opinions on who she should have ended up with.
