Between the bad scan quality, bad translations, and paper thin plot, this is just not a very good story. It's boring despite initial impressions and the characters don't make any sense at all. Had to stop on the 4th chapter because the arguments just weren't making sense! If culture festival participation was based on the school fees, why not give Class 0 an amount proportional to what they pay? Doubt they're all going to school for free since baseball boy's mom is working hard to pay for it. The obstacles the author sets up are just illogical lol.

Seriously this manga has my eyes looking like 3's lol! ╥﹏╥

But I gotta say, way to go Hagita for the taking charge with the bike! That part had me lol'ing for a good 30 seconds and, let's be honest, was probably what made things turn out the way they did.

    harumitski April 27, 2016 5:59 am

LOL I thought I was the only one who said "eyes like 3's" when I told my friends that they were so confused haha! But I feel you I stayed up till 1:35 AM on a school night just to finish. I was so anxious and nervous I haven't even gone to go pee! ╥﹏╥

I instantly fell in love with this series the moment I read the first chapter. And I'm so glad it's picked back up! Can't wait to see how things progress!

HMR's manhwa have a way of pissing me off, even when there's a happy ending lol. Maybe it's because the bad characters are just so senselessly bad? They're so one-track it's like they're all just mentally unstable (though in this particular manga they were definitely acknowledged as such but just in general lol).

Even when they turn "good", there's never a sense of remorse or regret; it's just some petty one-page realization that's just self-centered anyway. There's never a sense of "oh, I hurt these people. Oops!" but just like "ugh this isn't working and I'm tired of doing this over and over again so whatever". So the resolutions just serve to tick me off lol! And then, of course, she only shows a max of 5 pages of happiness at the end, as if the 50+ chapters of hell they just went through didn't earn them at least one bullshit free chapter.

But, still, they're somehow so addictive I keep reading them. (*´Д`)=з

wow. every single thing you just said sums up why I foolishly keep reading her works. I feel like reading her works is almost like a battery- I get hyped in teh beginning of the story since it's pretty good, but then I start to "loose battery power" because the whole story seems to drag on and it starts to feel exhausting sometimes as you wonder when it'll finally end. Also, the thing I don't seem to like about this author's works is that she always puts an adult teacher that seems to be older than the characters and who fall either for the lead female or male. I saw it in Oh Chunja Chunja High School Bullying, (another one of the author's works), where the female lead considers dating the gym teacher who is OLDER THAN HER AROUND 34 FREAKIN YEARS OLD!! Like, doesn't it ever cross their minds that they have an illegal relationship and that he's dating a minor in HIGH SCHOOL???

After rereading this (insomnia + super boredom = rereading random manga lol) I realized that this author is somehow REALLY inconsistent with her heights! It was prevalent throughout the entire manga, like every scene with Ida standing next to Naru showed a really small height difference despite him being super tall but I kinda ignored it and convinced myself that maybe she was just really tall too lol.

BUT! This page literally had me rolling on the floor laughing! http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/he_s_dedicated_to_roses/mf/v11/c042/65/

How is Shinah, at 177cm taller than Naru at 191cm? ブハハハ (≧∇≦)人(≧∇≦) ブハハハ
If the author couldn't keep the heights relatively consistent, why bother going out of her way to define them lol?

    JayTheBirdFlyZ April 1, 2016 7:46 pm

Maybe their height difference was because Shinah was closer in perspective? Anyway, I never pay attention to such detail, so it doesn't really matter to me.

I noticed the same thing. Funny, but it didn't really bother me

I noticed the same thing. Funny, but it didn't really bother me @Apple Pie

It didn't get to me much at first, but I've read a few of the author's works and they all do the same thing. It's one thing to just have inconsistent heights, but she spends a substantial amount of time telling us how tall X-kun and Y-chan are, but then just disregards it and draws them however she wants anyway. Like...why even bother then lol?

narutolvr March 21, 2016 9:39 pm

I'm glad the author threw in that little dose of reality at the end because I was reading like..."how's he gonna go without luggage, a ticket, or any sort of plan lol?" I'd be curious to see a follow-up though- does he just stay cross-dressing lol?

narutolvr March 21, 2016 12:58 am

I read the first chapter or two over a year ago, but stopped because it was a bit too text heavy and the pacing made it seem kind of boring despite such an interesting premise. I still felt the same reading it again today, tbh, but I powered through so I could see what lay beyond chapter 3 and I'm so glad I stuck with it! All the drama with the Dorm head/Tsukiko and Hazuki/Dorm head's sister and sister/sister's friend and Hazuki/Touma/Tsukiko is just so interesting I'm at the edge of my seat lol! I really hope someone decides to pick this back up again, because I desperately want to know what happens! And we still have to learn about Touma and Goro's pasts!

If, like me, you found yourself bored by the first couple of chapters, just do yourself a favor: skim them so you can understand what's happening, and really pick it up at chapter 4/5 when the plot really starts moving

This manga is so underrated! One is a freakin comedic action genius- can't wait until this anime comes out so it can get the recognition it deserves like Onepunch Man!

    manganiME April 1, 2016 7:56 pm

I like this one better than One-Punch. :D Been reading it since the first chapter came out here. It flagged a little as the battle with the Big Baddie ramped up, but let's see where it goes. This chapter was great. Back to old form with Reigen. What adventures in store for Mob? :D

narutolvr February 27, 2016 5:46 am

I'm glad he waited until she was in Jr. High before trying anything, but I wish he could have held on another 3 years until she was a little older? A 12/13 year old dating an 18/19 year old just seems very predatory. But a 16 y.o dating a 22 y.o is substantially less creepy and even less so the older she gets. But I also feel like only middle schoolers should be dating other middle schoolers since you mature a lot mentally, intellectually, and physically from 12-15. Guess I just gotta take a deep breath and remind myself it's manga lol

narutolvr February 10, 2016 10:46 pm

This was a pretty torturous read lol. There was no substance to any of the stories; I didn't feel like the main characters changed for themselves, but for everyone else, which isn't the message I think any magazine that focuses so much on appearance should send. In the end, it just seems so shallow because we're only ever given shallow reasons for the characters wanting to chance. Yuri seemed like an interesting, somewhat thoughtful, character, though. I would have preferred to see more from her and how her relationships developed. But maybe that's what happened in volume 2- since I got so annoyed from the first volume, I'll never know.
