Did the art suddenly become better quality? I think this is the first chapter in quite some time I genuinely thought the characters were decently attractive. The art could still use some improvement of course, but much better compared to the previous chapters.
I know how a lot of people live the fact that she’s a bigger girl, however, I feel like she would have realistically started to slim down by now to where you could see a noticeable difference between the beginning of the story and now- unless she has a condition I am forgetting about. She’s very active and if I remember correctly- she has changed her diet to some degree. And to clarify- I’m not saying I’m expecting her to be super thin and look like a super model all of a sudden. Rather, I would expect her to be closer to that in between size range between “regular” sizes and plus size. So around a size 14-22 (I say this large of a range because we all know sizing isn’t consistent. I personally can wear clothing in the range of a size 6-14). It would’ve been neat to see her very gradually slim down while building muscle mass as the story progresses. I wouldn’t even want the end result to be a super skinny girl. But rather, more of a muscular and shapely “average” build that’s not commonly seen in these types of stories. You see a lot of either obese or super slim. Seeing a more “mid-size” character that is still portrayed as beautiful rather than ugly is quite rare. Not trying to offend anyone, just expressing my thoughts. (￣∇￣")
There is a noticeable difference to her physical appearance since the series started. Go back and take a look at her then and now. I much prefer the slow loss, more realistic. But for those that need that quick fix, her dreams show how she will become. So we are getting the best of both worlds at this point.

There actually have been quite a few lately. Can’t think of the names top of my head, but I think the most striking book was one with a knight named Pauline with short red hair. I must say, a lot of people forget that women put on muscle differently than men. Being a female body builder can be more difficult due to the biological differences. Pauline is the most striking character I can think of in a romance genre but I wouldn’t necessarily say she’s realistic at times, unless she has a higher fat to muscle ratio than want is depicted in the comics which would help better disguise the biological differences expected to see in a woman vs a man.
I also don’t understand why heterosexual has to be mentioned? I think it’s important to note that stories try to go for balance in a sense- having a masculine love interest and a feminine love interest. With GL stories, if they aren’t going with the big tits trope, they’re more likely to make one of the females masculine. As for straight romances, typically men are naturally associated with masculinity while women are associated with femininity. Balance is something the majority of writer go far if they aren’t looking hyper sexualizing characters. For GL stories, it’s going to be more common seeing masculine females because you only have too girls to choose from. As for straight romances, majority are going to give the male the masculine attributes. Does that mean there’s straight stories where there isn’t feminine male characters and masculine female characters? Of course not. It just seems rare because there’s so many varieties of straight romances. I can think of another webtoon where the female is a corporate worker in high position and an utter Tom boy. Meanwhile, her love interest is a neighbor guy who loves fashion, is more docile, has feminine interests, etc. Many webtoons and various manga in the Josie and shoutouts genre have more masculine females compared to their love interests. You just have to look for them. Sorry for the rant, just tired of this whole Herero vs Homo debate I keep seeing online. There’s many factors that go into play with these sort of debates and they’re constantly ignored.
You do have a point, the only thing is I haven't run into those. Hence why I'm still waiting, but to be more specific I'm waiting on Japanese webtoons that are in the genre of smut, romance, and josei. I've already seen it in BL and webtoons featured on the app Webtoons

I've feel like I've seen buff female characters in Korean webtoons and ENG webtoons, but I specifically want to see I from a Japanese webtoon/manga/dj. It’s a humorous read, so I’m going to stick with it and try not to think too seriously about it but oh my gosh if this was a real relationship- I would be smacking that girl left and right to wake her up and let her see the red flags. It’s all toxic. I mean, becoming a maid??? There’s already a power imbalance with his family’s political power and money. He is also already having her follow his family’s rules and such. Now he’s making her a maid?! Does he not realize how foolish that is considering if she meets his family members? Are we going to ignore the fact that his little body guard was already calling her a low human being and it’s safe to assume his thoughts represents the likely thoughts of the main family??? He is not helping her out and he is putting her through so many issues. He should’ve just turned her down. If he loved her, he wouldn’t put her through all this and would wait until they could properly date. As for her- it genuinely disgusts me that she keeps expecting sex when he has said no and she’s continuing to try to seduce him. Just like when a girl says no, if a man says no- no means no. I get it- he actually wants to but there’s rules blah blah blah. I’m personally the type to wait till marriage. Not really for any specific rules, but to protect myself. I do have moments of temptation but guess what? I have explained to all my previous serious BFs my thoughts and they have each respected it and made sure not to cross those boundaries. Heck, I’ve been told that even if I suddenly asked for it, they would likely say no in the moment and wait a good period of time to make sure it was what I truly wanted- not a brief moment of temptation. I respect them a lot for this and still am good friends with my exes. Why can’t this chick respect that? I get wanting a kiss or cuddling but leave it at that. Don’t bring up sex yet. They’re both obviously very immature and shouldn’t rush into things all of sudden once a b day passes. You are the same person you were the day before your birthday and the day of your birthday.

Exactly! I hope any young girls reading this do not take it seriously or think this is healthy. Luckily I’m old enough and mature enough to just past it off as a story and not make it an image of “true love” or an actual healthy relationship dynamic. Unfortunately, I’ve already seen comments saying they want this sort of relation. Uh no. Also, let’s not forget that they are merely 16 years old. He won’t be actually turning 18 but rather 17. Maybe my views are skewed because I live in the US, but they are children. This may be a controversial opinion, but if you aren’t of age of consent to be having sex with an adult, you aren’t of age of consent to be having sex with other minors. I’m sorry, but you are so young and naive at 16. Your brain is not fully developed and you having truly experienced the real world. Protect yourself. Well im 17 going to be 18 this year. I don’t 100% agree with u that we shouldn’t have sex until we reach adulthood. I think if we both have consent with it then it is fine. But what i think is a no no is that this is a toxic relationship and she doesn’t realize that.
That’s fine. I said it was a controversial opinion for a reason. I do think most people’s minds change when they’re older because hindsight is 20/20. It’s a lot easier to have personal bias when you are in the age group. It would be interesting to see if your opinion remains when you are older versus now since I know majority of my friends and even my own opinions have changed just within a few years after graduating high school. I personally like to see things on the side of science rather than personal bias. There’s a reason why there’s an age of consent (which closely relates to brain development and life experiences you don’t encounter until you leave your best known as home and public school except for very rare scenarios that act as outliers) which is what I address in my comment. It’s still r*pe even if the minor gave consent if they had sex with a legal adult. The minor may think they’re mature and may actually be more mature than their peers. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s r*pe. Anyways, I think it’s a worth wild way of looking at things. Just wanted to give you a slightly more in-depth glance of my personal perspective. It’s 100% okay to have different opinions and to let your opinion change or even remain the same as you age. In regards to this story- they are both naive, are evidently very sheltered and toxic to one another, and very sheltered. They are obviously not at the emotionally maturity to give full Informed consent beyond raging hormones that result in impulsive decisions.

Was not expecting the boss to be happy to share his wife. Was there a mid translation or something? Seemed like she was more like a concubine or hostess. From my knowledge of ancient China, the men didn’t share their wives. Big no no. Especially not so openly. However, in regards to concubines, especially if they were of low status, they would sometimes discretely share them as pleasure tools. Though using hostesses/entertainers or maids seemed to be more common to use for that purpose.
This is set in Japan, not China. (Samurai was a class only in Japan) and sex was not a hang up for them and people are people when it comes to sex no matter the time period. There were wife swappers and sexually open marriages then and now, etc.
