Ah. I feel so bad for Uenoyama??? I mean, everyone— Mafuyu, Hiiragi and Shizu— is making him feel like he is a replacement for Yuki??? Especially that part when Hiiragi told Uenoyama that the song doesn't sound like Ue at all and he replied with "cause i make it that way"— I mean— isn't that the biggest clue for Hiiragi to realize that Uenoyama isn't suitable to finish that song because he isn't Yuki? Just like what Ue's sister said, it's like he is continuing someone else's love letter for the person he loves. On the other hand, Shizu is actually rational? Until he allowed himself to be swayed by Hiiragi's own desire.
Anyway, I like how Shizu told Mafuyu to just stop if he can't even be sure about everything. Mafuyu needs to realize that Uenoyama isn't Yuki. He is still grieving and that's understandable. He needs someone to make him stable and that's understandable. However, neglecting your partner's feelings just because you had it worse is something you should never do.
At this point, it will not be surprising if Uenoyama asks Mafuyu if he really loves him. I mean— I need Uenoyama to just flip and let it all out. Otherwise, he will really end up like Yuki.
Also, even the name of their band is related to Yuki. Mafuyu is not really making him free from Yuki's ghost. He is actually making himself be imprisoned with everything that he is doing.
I just hope that Mafuyu and Hiiragi can realize that Uenoyama is Uenoyama and not just a replacement to their dead friend.
Putting aside uenoyama's feeling as a boyfriend , isn't that exactly what the author is getting at , I think the author somehow is making tribute to Yuki' as a character by making the 3 friends want a replacement of him in uenoyama don't you think so since his death was sudden it's normal for the author to drag on how each of the 3 friends make a closer for his death . however , i think she didn't really give the relationship between mafuyu & uenoyama its Justice in the development of their feelings it's somehow lacked something in my opinion toobsame goes with what she did with akihiko & ugetsu as much as I read I couldn't grasp ugetsu's feelings for akihiko as she kept referring to the violin as his biggest love which I couldn't understand.
i think ugetsu loves akihiko but he thinks he will have to give up on music if he started loving akihiko?? ugetsu mentioned that if he keeps akihiko, his music will never be free while for akihiko, ugetsu's music will be nothing but despair since it's the one who broke his dreams. but yeah— their story is kind of messy sksksk i can't feel anything about the relationships in this story but i can feel something when your perspective is on losing someone and having to continue living without them
Ohh I didn't see it that way , so ugetsu did love akihiko in his own way but wasn't akihiko the one who gave up on playing the violin because of ugetsu that still confuses the shit out of me I mean whyy .either way I only saw the two of them as having a really toxic relationship which made me keep on reading to see how it would end .but the way ugetsu didn't want to let him go (though he kept cheating on him , that pained me each time) after akihiko moved out was sad but still the author made their break up Soo dramatic lol .
