Exactly. It's the first thing I noticed ever since I started reading Yaoi stuff. I'm a writer myself and I write all the pairings but when it I'm writing Yaoi, people are making a big fuss over their roles when in reality, anyone, no matter their physical feature is or their characteristic, they can be a top or a bottom. Sometimes, I'm worried when I think that maybe most of them are just fetishising gay relationships which is simply wrong in many ways.
I’ve come to terms with the fact that most people that read Yaoi have fetishized gay relationships I can say this with full confidence since I was once like that as well to a point where I used to think if you’re gay and it’s not some form of male x male then what was the point of your suffering?
