Um.. i feel for him. That’s actually so sad.. I think it’s futile so stay in a relationship where expectations of either characters just doesn’t meet. I personally feel for our mc since we both have the same mindset and want.
The wisest thing to do is to just stop then and there, expecting someone like Kotani to agree to marriage will just hurt you further. Although, generally speaking everyone should have a timeline to when they should or shouldnt get married, however, people like our protagonist should also get the happiness they deserve.
