Not only was this the typical yaoi trope of I force you and you still love me, but it felt like they threw in everything and the kitchen sink.
Uber rich handsome seme that is good at everything, with shy nerdy uke that was an ugly duckling that transformed to a beautiful swan, but of course the seme loved him even before. They somehow had a lot of beautiful memories when at first it seemed like they didnt really know eachother?

They talked about cutting the string if it was ever connected. They made an agreement but he is ignoring it because he thinks it's the "right" thing. It's not, he is deliberately ignoring his partner and taking on an unnecessary burden, doesnt he think that doing this is what negatively affects his relationship?

It feels like he thinks he doesnt deserve happiness and it's sad.

I wish this was a little bit longer but I liked it nonetheless. I wish we could have seen the seme grow with the uke, or because of him.

The sensei pisses me off. He is justifying taking advantage of a seemingly traumatized guy because hes a closeted gay? It is fucked that people can not be their true selves but it does not justify hurting others. Even if he isnt directly hurting the uke he sure as hell isnt helping.

Also I dont think love is necessarily the answer to helping someone that has gone through trauma. It's good to have people there to support you and help you move on, but just loving someone wont fix anything.
