I really like the design of his collar.
Just wanted say if someone is a Dom/ switch it doesn't mean they are sadistic. They can be but its not synonymous, a sub can be sadistic, as well as be a top, and the Dom can be a bottom.
When I say top and bottom here it doesn't have to be sexual it just means the top gives abd the bottom takes.
So you can have a sadistic sub that is a top and a masochistic Dom that is a bottom.
I'm sure it won't go this way but I sort of want him to be asexual and for it to be ok. Like it would make for a great story.
Edit: I am adding this because of 2 comments. I dont want to have an asexual character because of truma. Its just reading something where a character could be asexual made me want to read a story like that.
It would definitely be interesting as there are not really stories of asexual people out there (idk is there even one asexual yaoi/bl manga?) also I feel like i am asexual too and I can relate to (Tamaki? The dark haired one) very much so it’d make me feel ok to be like i am if they just accepted one another ( ̄∇ ̄")
I know there’s ‘say it!’ Which is free on webtoon and tapas and one of the main characters is asexual— it’s super cute!! Even though the guy who likes him is super attracted to him and wants to touch him all the time he’s also respectful of his boundaries and stuff. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ But it’s also a super long and developed story and it’s not finished yet
I agree with this statment, I feel like asexual stories most certainly have their place and I would personally like seeing more of them, but they have their place and this story isn't about asexuality its about tramua. Persons who experience conditioning to think that sex is bad like him (even though it wasent intenitional conditioning) tend to have a really hard time excepting the sexual part of themselves and no I don't agree with Shii's advances, but its clear to see that Tamaki had an issue beyond just that of having a problem being touched non-consensually like that. I've seen this trope in yaoi where they might say you're disgusting when they are actually talking about themselves and I think that's what is going on here, in that situation Shii represents the sexual part of Tamaki and is the only one who pries into it thus making Tamaki open up about how he has disgust for that part of himself. Once again I need to restate I would love to see more asexuality, but this just isn't what is occuring here.
Yes, I definitely agree with this, as I said in the comment above. It was seeing a character that might be asexual that made me want to see it.
I wouldnt want a character to be asexual because of trauma, I would want them to be asexual because that's what they are. Like I hate yaoi where they are gay because they were raped by men and now crave the dick... fucking gross.
Just me wanting something a little different, like also another story I was reading where it seems the character was trans but they just wanted to crossdress, nothing wrong with that, but the way it started made me hope they were trans.
One that actually pissed me off where the character obviously was trans but the person they loved didn't like women so they were "cured"
All in all its just me wanting something more, and different.

I get that I was more so on the other comments about it. I'm the same way I like asexual character myself.
For me personally, it feels wrong and dirty to imagine Tamaki having sex. The trauma and reluctance just doesn’t feel right... this is yaoi so asexuality won’t happen but if the author HAS to add smut, I hope it’ll be a slow burn, like right now with accepting romantic feelings.
I’ll be disappointed if Tamaki is rushed into sex but the author is doing a great job with the slow burn at the moment so I feel a bit reassured.
If there were more asexual characters in mangas, it’d be best to look under shounen/shoujo ai. Yaoi is just too tainted with normalizing rape to expect well-developed characters in LGBTQ+ themes (for the most part).
Funny how the teacher is a creep but the dad is ok because he "loves" the kid and will treat him right.
The legality of it isn't the issue, even though it seems like the thing with the teacher happened not too long before they met, but that might just be me not remembering well.
The dad is going after a kid the same age as his son that still hasn't finished highschool, still depends on his grandmother and who the dad even thought was too young. He tries justifying it to himself as oh well i love him and I won't hurt him, even though he does, so its ok.
Another thing the father is hypocritical when it comes to how he thinks about his son being gay and him liking the kid. He is an emotionally stunnted, immature man
that plays childish games with a person half his age. It doesn't seem like he actually cares for him because he misses the cooking and the having someone there instead of thinking about what is best.
All in all this story would have been so much better without the "romance" of the father and the kid. It would have been nice had the father told the kid he cares for him but not in a romantic way and that he would learn to accept his sons love as time went on, because even that wasn't exactly addressed it was more of well the person I like is a guy so I cant say anything even if I think you would have a better life being straight.
Oh yeah and if i remember correctly the dad was pissed at the kid for trying to get with a man and even told the man it was illegal because the kids a minor.
Yeah, I agree with all of that and it honestly bothered me how he called his son his enemy. There's also a big chance that his i-wish-you-were-never-born attitude will comeback when a slightest bit of problem arise between him and his son again.
As for romance with a partner with 16 years age gap is pretty fine with me as long as the other one is old enough. The younger one here is 20, seems pretty mature for his age and is going to a good university while maintaining his good grades and also I think he isn't neglecting his relationship with his grandma while being in a relationship, so it's fine with me but what bothered me is that their relationship seems shallow. The younger guy fell for the man because he's hot while the father just seems to like that he kinda has a wife figure in the house keeping the family together. All in all, as you said they should've just didn't include their story or in my opinion the author should've flesh out the story more and gave the characters much more complex personality to know why they truly fell for each otber but that would destroy the whole fluffy and adorable image the story wish to be.
In a story i honestly dont care if there is a 50 year age difference. Its fiction so whatever, but it does weird me out when ppl are like "omg age gaps its what I want".
But irl I think that instead of age ppl should look at life experience. Because you can have someone that is 13 and someone that is just 5 years older is wrong. Its because a 13 year old hasn't had the same experiences as the 18 year old.
Same goes for a 16 year age difference. Usually someone that is 20 still depends on their parents or is just starting to be independiente. Usually by the time someone is 36 they have been on their own, might have children, and have been in at least one long term relationship. It makes it easier for, even if its not intentional, the older one to take advantage of the younger one. It could make it so the younger one depends on the older one not only for money but emotionally.
Someone that is 40 going with a 56 year old wouldn't seem strange at all.
Of course this isn't going to apply to everyone, there will be times when someone might be independent and have more experience, but usually such big age gaps when ppl are 18-25 are not good. At least in my opinion.
I've not finished reading this but so far its cute. I'm wondering the big "bro" is a trans woman right? I'm a little confused because the younger brother keeps saying big bro.
yeah his older brother is trans I thought he called her sister later on?
I think the younger brother needed to come to terms with his sister's transition for a bit, in the end he refers to her as 'sis'
